I'm a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor working in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. I also specialsing in Pre and Post Natal exercise, running private and small group sessions which are tailored for each stage of pregnancy along with the post natal period. I’ve eaten my body weight in cake and averaged about 50 steps a day for the last week but I don’t care because I turned 40 and sometimes you need to just need to get the f**k it bucket out and fill that baby up.
Everyone needs a break. Time to relax and take the pressure off.

💥Everything’s getting a bit more expensive isn’t it and let’s be honest 1-2-1 training can be a bit too much to afford at times. Online training gives you the same accountability, same great experience and advice, but at a much lower cost.
💥People who are new to training may want to start off with home workouts before joining a gym, but don’t necessarily know where to start. Online training is a fabulous option for those people.
💥Some people have a gym membership and just want to go when they want but have some direction on what to do when they’re there. Online training is also fabulous for those people.

If I’d acted on my thoughts I wouldn’t still be trying to get the hang of this Mauy Thai malarky . Trying something new is always a bit daunting and as an overthinker I sometimes get caught up on the technical side. Looking back at these videos I’m so glad I continued to push through the thought process of ‘I can’t do it’ ‘I’m not very good’ ‘people will see I’m doing it wrong’ and decide to give zero f**ks. Because you know what I love seeing my little breakthroughs each time I have a session and these prove that sometimes time is irrelevant, we don’t always need to put a time limit on our progression. Sometimes you just need to stop thinking and start doing.

Why’s it’s not vain to film a set. 🎥
So deadlifts are a real mental game for me. I overthink them because of previous back issues/surgeries. So I find it hard to get my head in the game when it comes to increasing my weight.

and 3@ 85kg.
Firstly this is the heaviest I’ve lifted in a long time so I’m happy with that. ( I don’t deadlift that often so that’s not a bad weight for me)
However looking at this it’s far from perfect form. The knee knocking (knee valgus) is in fairness not a true representation due to dodgy camera angles. However it is present and not something I noticed as much when looking in the mirror.
I’m 100% certain this is due to a number of issues, a current foot issue I’m trying to rehab along with some hip and hamstring tightness. So I’m glad I filmed this to see how much of an effect this is having on my form.
I also filmed my back squats, again going heavier than normal the knee valgus was also present in the same right knee. So definitely something that needs attention to avoid further injuries when performing these moves.
So guys, film your sets (maybe with better angles than me!) analyse your form from a different perspective and use this as a tool to improve your strength and conditioning workouts.
