Here I got a new shipment of freshwater pearls, so I have been pearl pairing all afternoon ❤️🐚❤️As all pearls are unique I pair them to the best ability in terms of shape, colour and lustre. With the passing of my late grand mother, from whom I got my love for jewellery, pearls became even more important, as she left me and my sister her pearls, which I have I subsequently redesigned as the original stringing had broken. lovely Layering 💫💫💫 How to layer your necklaces, you may ask? Either go for multiple chunky ones in the same length for texture and let them act as a nice sparkly contrast to say a T-shirt or pose as an illumating collar to say a black or white dress. Or, go for necklaces in different lengths. The necklaces shown here are roughly all 2” in difference in length 💫💫💫

Are you also mad about fossils? I grew up close to what resembles the - it’s called - as a child one of my fave things was to go down all 497 steps to the pebble beach with a small fossil hammer in my hand and go hunting for fossils in the white chalk. You would always find treasures, some up to 65-70 millions of years old. Fossils have the ability to make us feel grounded and then they are also so beautiful with all their intricate details. This is why I started making my tiny seed pearl choker necklace with this tiny little ammonite charm in addition to the star pendant version I make. The ammonite connects us not only with the sea and history, but through that, it makes us feel balanced 💫🐚💫
