How fun are these, I was commissioned this summer by a group of friends to surprise the bride.

The happy couples first date was blackberry picking and has become one of their favourite past times, so the bride had them in her bouquet!

What an honour, I was given some ashes to incorporate into the clay and create functional celebratory pieces.
We have a vase, 3 candle holders, and a large bowl.
The dragonfly has special meaning to the family.

Joyful, happy little badger...

Freshly sculptured in wet clay joining his friend to dry ready for the kiln... I'm praying these guys survive the dizzying temperatures of the kiln and come to my next craft fair.... 28th sep in pembury!

I really enjoyed working with this bouquet... And look how beautiful they are pressed into the side of a vase to keep forever.

Look who climbed up on my work bench this morning to say hi...

He is currently in fresh wet clay but once dry, then bisque fired, hand painted, fired again he will be looking for a new home at my next craft fair on the 28th September in pembury.
