As you may know the temperature is rocketing here in the UK! We have a few guidelines to follow in relation to having piercings&tattoos here at Love and Ink in the coming days 💓

🔥When getting a piercing or tattoo, please ensure that you are well hydrated, eaten and sugar levels adequately high. Overheating can and will increase risk of fainting.

🔥Come to your appointment after a meal and before spending extended periods of time in the sun.

🔥Arrive to your appointment 10 mins early to cool down before treatment begins. Don't rush in this heat, allow enough time before your appointment to fill out forms in our creative lounge & cool off with an iced drink or free icy water.

🔥Understand that heat can amplify symptoms of swelling which are a natural and expected response to piercings and tattoos.

🔥Keep your fresh piercings and tattoos out of direct sunlight, and do not apply lotions to the site of your new piercing/tattoo.

🔥No communal water (swimming pools, hot tubs, ocean) for approximately 4 weeks once you have received treatment.

We will accomodate any prebooked clients who would like to reschedule to a time of cooler weather, or after an upcoming holiday, honoring deposits to appointment changes within One month. Now, time to shine but take care of yourself and new adornments! 💓

My first ever 🩷 We used two tones of opal in 4+5mm. Surface piercings have an unpredictable success rate and are prone to rejection by nature, which Cassandra understood undertaking this new adornment. I absolutely love it, what do you think?😍
