We recommend regular dental hygiene appointments in order to improve and maintain your oral health.

We also offer Direct access at our practice, which means you can book a Hygienist appointment without seeing the Dentist first.

We are excited to inform everyone Dr Hannah Linnard will be returning to work from her maternity leave as of Tuesday the 5th of October 2021.

Hannah will be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am-5:00pm.

Hannah will be continuing with General Dentistry as well as Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics and Facial Aesthetics.

We are all very much looking forward to having her back in the Practice.

Dental Hygienists are a vital part of maintaining oral health. They are experts at helping you take the best care of your gums and supporting structures that provide the foundation for your teeth.

Gum disease is preventable, and our lovely Hygienists can show you the best and most effective way to do this. They will also treat gum disease and advise you on ways to stop disease progression. This is so important to not only your oral health but your general health as well.

Oral bacteria which is present in the plaque, which builds up on the tooth surface, has implications with many systemic diseases, so a visit to see your hygienist is more than just a clean. They will also perform screening on the whole mouth to check for anything unusual, including mouth cancer.

They will recommend the best tools specifically for you to ensure you can achieve the best results yourself. They will remove any plaque or calculus (tartar) and can remove staining to leave your mouth feeling clean and fresh.

A visit to you Hygienist is just as important as a check-up with your Dentist, and generally should be done every 6 months.

We are looking for a GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our very friendly team in Tunbridge Wells. We are a mixed 5 surgery practice.
Experience with SOE software preferred but not essential.
We offer a competitive hourly rate and a pension scheme.
Our surgeries are all modern and very well equipped. They are all air conditioned.
You will be working in a happy environment where we provide consistently high-quality care to our pleasant patients.
Treatments including general dentistry, Implantology, cosmetics, orthodontics and teeth whitening.

The role includes:
• general chair-side assistance
• infection control
• sometimes general reception duties
• ensure CQC requirements are met
• update patient records
• set up decontamination of instruments

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic nurse with great communication skills.

Southborough Dental Practice wish to inform everyone that our dear Practice Manager and friend Fiona is leaving the Practice today.

Fiona has been with the Practice since 2013.

We wish her all the best for the future. She will be very missed. ❤️

Now for some good news.
On Saturday 13th March we saw the arrival of our 2 babies.
In the morning our Nurse Paige welcomed a daughter , Isabella weighing in at 8lbs. Later in the day Dentist Hannah welcomed daughter Sophia into the world, weighing in at 7lbs.
Both mums and daughters doing really well and our Southborough family look forward to meeting them both as soon as it is safe to do so.
We are well and truly in the pink 🧸🎀
