This is my ultimate RnB highlight of 2022! I will never be able to find the words of how I felt in this moment. To see the sold out audience all on their feet with a standing ovation for our first commercial showcase since covid was truly a moment I will never forget. So much love, support and strength in one moment and I still get goosebumps every time I watch it - so thank you for being a part of this. Alongside that we have welcomed new students, delivered classes in even more schools, had our first weekend of summer showcases over in Chichester where we had over a thousand performers, overcame a fusion showcase, introduced new staff and leaders to the work family, went on amazing trips and sold out an incredible 5 performances in 2022! Finally we raised thousands of pounds for very special charities in appreciation of my wonderful parents which I still cannot thank you all enough for! Thank you all for your continued love and support, it’s been tough and we’ve overcome a lot this year and I am so blessed to have you all with me. I am excited for you all to be on the celebration of 15 years of RnB next year - Here’s to 2023 ❤️
Before everything starts getting a little crazy this week I just wanted to thank each and every one of you who were apart of RnB and interlock dance company this year. We have achieved so many amazing things and I’m so immensely proud of you!! A huge thanks goes to our wonderful dancers, families, companies who support us and to our staff and student leaders! I am pleased to say plans are now well underway for the new 2023 timetable where we start the celebrations of RnB turning 15!!! And we can’t wait for you guys to be part of the next chapter. In the new year links will be sent out for the new term and if your child participated in “let it snow 2022” you may just receive a special little email this afternoon!! Thank you all so much for your incredible hard work and support in our Let It Snow performance 2022. Dancers you were just phenomenal and as always our audience were something else. A huge thanks goes to all of our chaperones and helpers and technicians who work so hard to help make these showcases run so smoothly. A massive thanks to our leaders and staff who helped behind the scenes, and also a huge thanks goes to all of you for my lovely Christmas goodies - I was throughly spoilt! Ever wondered what happens once the curtains go down after a show?? This ❤️ ❤️❤️ I’m so excited to get back to it and start creating pieces for the next one. After some much needed time off and precious time with loved ones I am heading back in to the office throughout this week to finalise details ready for our September return! Now is the perfect time to get in touch if you want to join us in one of our many classes. So excited to say that emails have been sent out this morning for the Fusion Summer Showcase download service. As always we are absolutely blown away by our friends Curtain Call Productions for capturing so many beautiful moments, it’s safe to say this years showcase was special in so many ways and it’s brought it all back to me this morning ❤️ can’t wait to see what you all think of it.
I am over the moon to announce that over the last three weekends of dance showcases we raised an incredible £1,143 for St Wilfrid's Hospice Yesterday on Mums anniversary we made a donation on behalf of RnB Dance Company in her name. I cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and support, I will never forget watching you all literally tipping your purses upside down, putting in bundles of notes and bringing your money bags of coins to contribute to this staggering amount. No matter how big or small you contributed to this amazing amount which will make such a difference to so many people 💙 thank you!
I just wanted to quickly jump on and say the biggest of thank you’s for my beautiful flowers, gifts, cards and presents. I have been truly overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. I still can’t get over Sunday and I’m still very much trying to process it all but it won’t be too much longer before I’m back on with a long soppy post but just for a little longer I’m taking it all in and digesting what a special few weekends we’ve had together, all of your messages have just been something else and I will be forever grateful for you all! Ps - yes the Prosecco, Chanel and Percy pig addiction continues 🤣 so much love for you all ❤️
