Let's break this down! 20% of your week is 1.4 days, so give yourself permission to be a bit more relaxed on these days. The rest of your week, get back on track, and you can still achieve your goals. Having said this, the 5.6 days left, you can still have a good time. Walk with a friend instead of coffee and cake this time. Go out for dinner but offer to drive to save on those alcohol calories this time. Read the menu before you go and plan what you're having before being tempted at the restaurant this time. There are always ways around it. Who else was obsessed with the Olympics? When I was growing up, the pressure to be skinny, have an hour-glass figure and be a size 8 was immense! Some of my school friends had eating disorders and, looking back, it was quite frightening! I really noticed the incredible women in the Olympics this year. All different sizes. It was refreshing! So, why? In this day and age, did I see 1 curvaceous mannequin when I went shopping with my kids today? Why? When I do online shopping, are there still size 8 women modelling the clothes? All bodies are beautiful. I will definitely be bringing up our children to be strong and confident in the bodies they've been blessed with. 6 weeks ago, I stopped drinking alcohol. Why? Because the reward didn't outweigh the Because it woke me up at 4am! Because I'm an emotional wreck when I drink. Because working out with a hangover isn't fun. And so many other reasons! I am loving the benefits. The clear head in the morning. The quality of my sleep is incredible. I've lost weight.
