This is the first time I’ve revealed my process for painting my mini worlds on tea bags. I was kinda shy when doing this video, I don’t normally let ppl see me paint. But I thought you’d be interested to see this so here we go....

Day 7 in the #TAAchallenge with @theabundantartist - You’ve now met all our woolly friends, time to meet our cheeky girl. When I say cheeky I really mean she is being truly herself, in all her impish, mischievous donkey glory - meet Felicitas. The one with the kooky smile and the hoot that makes me smile every time... every time! She came to us when she was 5, nearly three years ago, and has filled our lives with laughter. She can be naughty - she chases the sheep and chickens, stubborn - she will not let us touch her back feet for anything, she’s teaching us her donkey ways. In the mornings she loves her neck and back being massaged, leaning into it with a blissful smile on her face. She loves her walks out in the reserve - sometimes running free from her lead, kicking up her heels and hooting into the wind. The sheep look on bemused, what’s all the fuss they ask?! I’ve mentioned chickens which will give you a little clue as to who you’ll be meeting tomorrow... #donkeylove #donkeylover #colouredpencils #animalartist

Day 3 in the #TAAchallenge - the first of the art pieces in @theabundantartist 8 day challenge. Meet Dahling. We rescued Dahling nearly 3 years ago bringing her and her male partner Melchett to the reserve in the back of our Ford Focus! She was a skinny little thing, very nervous and very gentle. She had a mass of matted wool around her, it looked like she hadn't been sheared for 2 years or more. As it was coming up to winter we left her with her woolly coat until the following Spring, when she was sheared with the help and experience of our neighbour Juan.  As soon as she became free of this matted mass of wool Melchett got very interested and before long it was obvious she was pregnant.
