β οΈ Due to predicted high winds on Thursday 22 August, the Water Gardens, Woodland Gardens, Upper Lodge Water Gardens and playground will all be closed to the public all day,
β The Pheasantry CafΓ© will remain open as normal but access to the Woodland Gardens beyond the cafΓ©βs doors and windows will be closed.
π³ We'd also advise visitors not to seek shelter under trees during the high winds.
We're sorry for any inconvenience that these closures may cause.

Thank you to the Thames Landscape Strategy team who had a successful plastic blitz session along the Longford River this week as part of London Rivers Week π
The team noted that litter had thankfully decreased along this stretch of the river in Feltham during the last three years π
The river runs through Bushy Park and our team has responsibility for the river bed and immediate banks of the river along its course.
This Insect Week, let's celebrate dung beetles!
These tiny eco-heroes keep our parks thriving by recycling nutrients and fertilizing soil. πΏβ¨

Delving into our Green Futures programme and its incredible impact!πΏ
Over the past academic year, we've connected young people with nature through conservation days at Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and Bushy Park.
We've engaged 59 Year 12 leaders and 551 KS3 students from five schools, including The Hurlingham Academy, The Grey Coat Hospital School, St. Cecilia's Church of England School, Tiffin Girls' School, and Ricards Lodge High School.
Together, we're nurturing a passion for nature conservation and heritage. π±β¨

On this day 80 years ago D-Day began.
During the Second World War, Bushy Park was home to a sprawling military base and it was from here where General Dwight D. Eisenhower plotted Operation Overlord - the invasion of Normandy.
