What has Yoga taught you?

I can't bring the magical Pelion Mountains to you, but I can offer you the space to rest, reset and rejuvenate with my next mini-retreat offerings ✨ After a week of retreating at @pelionhomes, I feel a deeper connection to why I love Yoga and Meditation. For me, these practices are the art of 'being' rather than 'doing'. These practices enable me to focus on the feelings of movement and thought rather than the actions required. It's rather transformative to give your mind a little break from all the hard work it does, often without you being fully aware of quite how much is going on. Smudging is an ancient spiritual ritual believed to clear negative energy 🧙 I love this practice. It's as if someone sprinkled fairy dust all around me and my surroundings, dissipating what felt heavy. I use white sage but you can also use lavender and cedar wood. Have you seen that I'm running a mini-retreat on Friday 30th September? The Mindful Morning is a chance to unwind, relax and softly recharge through yoga, movement and meditation. You'll learn tips to take home and explore bringing them into your daily routine so that you can wake up with a little more energy and create space for how you want to experience your day. Mindful Movement Online Mondays 10th - 31st January 6.45 - 7.30 am Usually, £8 per session/£30 for all if booked in advance (includes 1 month of Meditation Mail as a bonus gift) These classes will include gentle stretching, yoga-inspired cathartic movements, EFT/Tapping Techniques, relaxation and breathwork.

A gift from me to you this festive season 🌲 May Christmas be a time of relaxation, enjoyment, love and support. In reality, it can often feel a time of busy-ness, stress, pressure (from yourself or others), anxiety and maybe resentment. This is a 10 minute EFT/Tap to release what you don't need to hold on to. Remember it is ok to feel! We all feel and we don't need to change that. Emotions aren't good or bad. They just are. But we can choose to let go of what doesn't feel good.

As a kid I hated PE, all the rules I could forget and the people in my team I could let down. I love that I can't get yoga wrong. It's an exploration of my own range of movement, without any competition. As long as it feels good to me, I'm doing what I need to be.
