Well it’s taken a long time and involved a lot of great people from IPAF, CHIG and other volunteers but it is finally here.

We've been asked for years by people within the hoist industry when we will have an accredited training programme for our installers, something that sets the standard and allows them to do there job on site without any question over their abilities.

The IPAF Hoist Installer and Advanced Installer course is the most comprehensive training programme in the world for the men and women on the tools in this great industry. It will take someone with little to no experience and enable them to be able to work on site safely and with confidence. It is NOT a quick day or two with a test and then away you go. This is 40-64 hours worth of theoretical and practical application potentially spread over 18-24 months combining training centre time with live on site with an experienced mentor.

This is training, this is assessment, and this is truly gaining competence.

In short, for the hoist industry, this is HUGE!!

Big news coming soon from Safety Training and Consultancy Services (STaCS) with regards to delivering this training for all hoist installers both new and experienced.
