Fire Alarm Tests The UK BS 5839 maintenance requirements recommends that fire alarms in a business premises are inspected every 6 months by a competent person. It is also recommended that a competent person tests the fire alarms weekly by activating the fire alarm point to ensure everything is working as it should. These tests should be logged in a dedicated fire alarm safety book. It is important to carry out this test within working hours on the same time and day each week.

This basic introduction to First Aid is suitable for children between 7 and 11 years old* and offers a fantastic opportunity for youngsters to learn about first aid and what to do in the event of an emergency.
