It is with much regret that St Michaels Snooker Club announces the sad news that 'Sparky' the clubs CCTV monitor has finally passed.

The monitor has been at the club since time began and even had a featured role in the video to 'Let Go' by local band Skinny Living

RIP Sparky you will be missed.

For all who are coming to the Marlene Snooker Comp tomorrow, read below, I have sent out a mass text to all who left a mobile number contact, PLEASE everyone who isn't on the list in the club, send me a message to let me know if you're coming tomorrow, I need to know do I can be as fair as possible with handicaps 😊👇👇👇

Morning all. It's Ant Hebblethwaite. I'm texting everyone who has put their name down for the Marlene Snooker Comp tomorrow.

Please arrive at 10:30am latest for registration. I will be there from 10am. Comp to start as close to 11am as we can.

Handicapped comp. We will use last year's handicaps and tweak based on performances. We will also use your high breaks and our own knowledge of all abilities. This is tough and would usually be accurate based on weekly or monthly completions but we will do our best to make it as fair as possible for you all.

It's £5 entry, payable on registration. Table lights are free to all players still playing in the comp.

We may run a side competition for all first round losers, will decide tomorrow.

Matches are all best of 3 (first to 2). No miss rules. Any contentious stuff, Matt and I will help out.
