Well, we've not had employee of the week for a while. We just have to start it again with Charlie, Charlie is a 2 year old ( 3 soon ) Saluki. Charlie was rescued at 4 months old by his human dad to the delight of his human mum who didn't know till she got home. What a work mate he was while we did his mum and dads windows. As you can see from his posing picture, he's well and truly settled in. I would also say he's the employee of the year. What a cracker he is.

Another job of the ever growing list. Out with the old leaded windows and replaced with new windows and clear glass.

Boarded up yesterday after some sc**te threw a brick through, and replaced today. All while Queen Victoria watched on.

A full house was reglazed this morning. Like clockwork, cracking team.

What a transformation this one is. We replaced all the old wooden sliding sash windows with pebble grey on white A rated pvc, finished with 25mm georgian bar cross. All sealed with stone coloured silicone.

We had a bit of vibration on Sam's van. 4 new tyres and a wash for both. It turned into an expensive day.

This was a tad awkward. A velux repair for a letting company in Rotherham. We don't normally go this far, but they're good customers.

First install for Sam and Lewis whilst Paul tackles Mount Everest. Old aluminium sliding doors replaced with brand new UPVC sliding doors.

Today's job was at a doctors surgery in Halifax. Removed the old rotten wood windows and replaced with new more thermal efficient pvc. Also fitted with 6.4mm laminated and toughened glass for better security.

Reglazing some broken units in a greenhouse this morning, At a house i used to play at when I was a kid. It brought back some good memories.

We have worked in worse places. Glass replaced in a 400 year old mansion in Heath common this morning.

Another one completed. This job started out as a repair enquiry. The old conservatory had seen its best days so the customer decided it was time for a new one. We removed all the old frames and roof, replacing it with new pvc frames. Finished of with a solid roof from Bramwell roofing. A cracking and now useable transformation.

Another job off the list, this one was for a regular landlord we work for. A straight forward job apart from the porch, we were half expecting the roof to give way. We managed though with plenty of acro props.

This is a first for us. A pigeon has made her nest right next to the window we were fitting. Back in a few weeks to silicone that side once the chick's have left.

We had a call at 6.50am today from a local sandwich shop that had been vandalised during the night. The glass was measured and ordered by 7.15am for collection this afternoon. With a massive thanks to my suppliers for pushing this job through, we collected the glass at 1.30pm. We did a couple of other jobs and returned to the shop at 3.30pm to replace the damaged window.

When the customer says do you want a sandwich, I'll get some delivered. So 3 trays turn up for all 3 of us. Then we got a picture drawn by their granddaughter. If Calsburge did work days, today was it.
