I've been having a little play with slab building lately. These plates were made from rolled out clay that I then shaped using a slump mould. I couldn't resist getting on the wheel to turn a foot ring on them, though. They were then painted and carved with my British wildlife designs.
These plates, along with more British wildlife mugs, have just been uploaded onto my website.
Thanks to all who supported me during my last shop update. I am slowly getting around to replying to you all 🥰

Dydd Santes Dwynwen Hapus! (Happy Welsh Valentines day!)
I did a little research behind the legend of St. Dwynwen. As the story goes, she was a fourth century Welsh princess who lived in the Brecon Beacons. Dwynwen was unlucky in love, so she became a nun. Nevertheless, she prayed for true lovers to have better luck than she did. Bless her! 😍
I'm always proud of my Welsh heritage, and I've always been fond of making Welsh Lady figures. They have evolved over the years, and this lady is my latest creation. www.jodieneale.com
Way back when, at the beginning of my pottery journey, I would make mugs based on my favourite British wildlife animals. I often get asked about them, and I've recently enjoyed recreating some older designs with new techniques and glazes. There are just a few up for sale on my website right now 🩷 www.jodieneale.com
These ceramic pendants were made with a slip trailing method and decorated with a two-tone glaze. They really do look very striking when worn. The hearts are in readiness for St. Dwynwen's Day (the Welsh Valentines Day) on the 25th of January! 🏴 www.jodieneale.com
A drippy Yunomi! Decorated in my own chun glaze. It's taken years of experimenting with this glaze recipe, and I'm so happy with the result!

These are the first mugs I have made in a very long time! I've been experimenting with lots of my own glaze recipes to design and create a range of mugs that I would like to drink out of. I kept the first one for myself, too! 😃 I have uploaded some of the mugs to my website, including a seconds sale. The seconds mugs are still fully functional, but they have slight imperfections that are barely noticeable. I know that they are there, and I like to be transparent with those who support me.
I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL FOR ANY LIKES AND SHARES ♥️
