Grandfathers funeral has been arranged for this Thursday 13th May 2021 .

He shall be making his final trip to the shop at 2pm if anyone would like to pay their respects before leaving for the crematorium at 2.15pm

We thank you again for all your lovely messages and memories you have shared of him.

Please note we shall be closed this Thursday.

My family and I would like to thank everyone for your kind words and support over the past few days. Your kindness, words and memories of my Grandfather have touched us dearly.

He will be very much missed by all of us. I attach a few memories I have found of him in the shop. The shop he very much loved.

With a heavy heart we would like to inform our customers and friends that our Grandfather passed away peacefully last night at the age of 88.

He purchased "The Connoisseur" in 1976 and has left the family with fond memories and guided us and the business over many decades.

For those who may remember being served in the shop by him, he genuinely treated each customer as a friend and installed that ethos in us today.

He will be missed dearly.
