Pleased to confirm the draft ale choice for the final bar of 2024 this Saturday (9th November): Sambrook's Brewery Wandle session bitter, Pumphouse pale and Junction best bitter. Food menu to be confirmed soon.

Very pleased to confirm East London Brewing Company Walthamstow Green Hopped Pale Ale and Cowcatcher American Pale Ale on draft and East End lager in cans for this Saturday's bar. Also pleased to confirm the Supa Food menu: Jerk chicken / non-spicy chicken with rice & peas or pumpkin and chickpea curry. Both with coleslaw and priced at £6.50.

Hi everyone. While I continue to make a good recovery my back is still a long way away from being able to cope with the heavy work of running the bar. I also can't risk aggravating it ahead of a holiday and potential house move in August. September is a much more realistic prospect and who knows maybe we might have some sunshine by that point too!

Many thanks to all visitors to a very busy bar last night. The super fresh and flavourful ales from Sambrook's Brewery were enjoyed by all with the pumphouse pale selling out early on. Jeff from Supa Food as always produced delicious meals. The bar will be returning in June as May is already a bit hectic with the Bank Holidays. Date to be confirmed soon.

Happy New Year everyone and hope you had a great Christmas.
The next bar will be in early March. Winter month bars have tended to be loss making so in order to maintain the long term viability of this community event on a break even basis I have to stick to the fairer weather months!

The fabulous East London Brewing Company draft ales were supped up well before closing time and almost all bottles were gulped down too! Thanks to all visitors to Saturday's bar. I thought it worked really well in the cafe space and everyone seemed to agree. Big thanks as always to Jeff at SupaFoods for his fantastic food and to Sambrook's Brewery for their great ales. Next bar is planned for 23rd September (I need a break in August) to round off the Hackbridge fair that is taking place on the Bedzed field the same day.

SupaFood menu for Saturday also now confirmed: Choice of Jerk Chicken leg, Chicken thighs in gravy (non-spicy) or Mushroom and Chickpea curry with coleslaw and either rice and peas or plain rice. All three dishes £6.50 each.

Sambrook's Brewery confirmed for Saturday's bar. Three ales will be on draft: Wandle session bitter, Junction premium bitter and a seasonal special Lavender Hill honey pale.
Doors open 6.30pm - bar is located in the cafe space rather than the main hall this month so please do not use the main doors.

Bar is open. An evening for al fresco drinking!

SupaFood's menu for Saturday (17th June): Brown Stew Chicken (non-spicy) or Jerk Chicken Wings served with rice & peas, coleslaw. Pumpkin & Butternut Squash Curry (vegetarian). All options £6.

East London Brewing Company confirmed for the June bar with Cowcatcher American Pale and Foundation Bitter on draft. The Wimbledon Brewery Gold Lager in bottles. Fairtrade Foundation wines plus soft drinks (lemonade or orange juice). SupaFood menu to be confirmed soon. Hoping the excellent weather continues for next Saturday's bar (17th June)! Doors open 6.30pm.
