Starter - 'Bonfire' tomato and mozzarella bruschetta 🍅🍞
Main - Vegetable casserole with cauliflower rice and naan bites 🧅🍆🥕🍚
Dessert - Sponge cake with strawberry sauce 🍰

32 guests were welcomed at our Walsall project on Wednesday to enjoy:

🥔 Potato, squash and roast pepper soup
🍄‍🟫 Mushroom stroganoff
🍌 Banana sponge with caramel sauce

We also welcomed a new volunteer and delighted to see a mix of new and regular guests. We are grateful for all our volunteers and guests as always!

Unfortunately, the FoodCycle Erdington project has been cancelled for the 16th of September 2024 due to not having enough volunteers to run the session.

However, we hope to see everyone back at the project the following week!

Our Walsall project celebrated FoodCycle’s 15th birthday celebrations this week with 24 guests! 🥳

With surplus food we created:
🥣 Mediterranean soup and bread
🍄‍🟫 Mushroom stroganoff and rice
🍫🍊 Chocolate orange cake

For the birthday celebrations, we also had handmade bunting using recycled materials and free origami for guests to take home, all made by our wonderful volunteers.
