The role of a coach is a thankless task Why would anyone do it?

⚽️ No long lie ins at the weekend, busy evenings midweek.

⚽️ Juggling work with preparing for the next training session, emails and paperwork, far too much to mention everything.

⚽️ The planning of matches and sorting out kit. There are times being a coach can be totally SH…ambolic

There really are so many reasons to just avoid coaching.

Yes, it takes dedication from someone special indeed, to give up their time to help others succeed. But when you realise your hard work has not been in vain, when little Connor or Katie are top of their game. Months of hard work coming through to fruition, you can see the results.

To all of our coaches we THANK YOU, to us it’s so clear, without all of you, none of us would be here.

New teams are being formed for the new season through our Pre-Academy in the following age groups:

* U7 (children currently in year 1)
* U8 (children currently in year 2)
* U9 (children currently in year 3)
* U10 (children currently in year 4)

You will need to be committed to attending the Pre-Academy whilst we set these teams up, in order for us to place your child in a team.

* Managers and coaches:
We are in need of willing volunteers to support the teams in these age groups. If this is something you could see yourself doing, then please get in touch and we can talk you through the process!

If you know a child or parent with a child aged 4-7 then please share this with them. Weekly sessions run by enthusiastic coaches. Please share far and wide and help grow this Pre-Academy to be the best it can be.

Another fantastic 2nd session attended by 13 children to our Pre-Academy Session. All children really looked like they were enjoying themselves and everyone had a great time.
