Let's talk colour...
I love using colour and believe that a little bit of something should be incorporated into your day. It doesn't need to be full on colour everywhere but a touch of something personal to remember your day is really special. And it doesn't even need to be colourful flowers, I love using colourful tapered candles amongst the flowers or perhaps a little colourful ribbon around each napkin just to make a little difference.
What's your favourite colour? And are you thinking of incorporating it into your wedding flowers, or did you use it on your special day?
HAPPY NEW YEAR PEEPS!
Guess who's back!? Back from a lovely sunny holiday in New Zealand, feeling ALL the jet lag (when will it end?!) and fully prepped ready for a busy year ahead.
This picture was taken during sunnier and drier times when my workshop was accessible and the river wasn't flooded. I am very lucky to have a workshop right on the river banks in Walton-on-Thames, but every now and again it floods quite drastically and means that I can't get in! They'll sort it out soon, but at the moment I'm WFH which I don't mind at all...it's a lot warmer, and there's a loo!
I'm taking tons of bookings at the moment for weddings this year, exciting times are ahead so if you're planning a wedding and want to chat flowers then get in touch. I'd love to hear from you!
Until then...let's have a cup of tea and enjoy today's beautiful sunshine while it lasts xx
All the autumnal feels went into making this arrangement at . Remember to look for little pockets of space around your venue that could do with a floral touch, they may not be very obvious at first but they can make a big difference to the overall look and feel of your wedding day.
Let me know if you need any help with this, I can always find a space for flowers!
What's your favourite bouquet style? Tight and compact, or perhaps soft and flowing? These pretty pinks have been beautifully arranged in a neat and compact dome for this lucky Bride π

Wedding enquiries for next year have really ramped up this week and I'm excited to see what next year brings us. New venues are coming on board too which is very cool, we love working with our favourites but it's quite refreshing when we're asked to decorate new spaces.
If you're a venue and you're looking for a new florist, please get in touch. We could be just what you're looking for πΈ
Meadows don't just need to be on the floor, they can be on tables too!
I really love incorporating a more natural meadow vibe into weddings, and they can be found along the aisle, in front of the Ceremony table and even used as table centres.
Happy fireworks day! I was looking through all my pictures and found this one which I think sums up today perfectly! An explosion of colours and shapes bursting out from this vase! π₯πβ¨
Enjoy your evenings and keep your pets safe and happy x

"Wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for the flowers, all looked fantastic and I LOVED my bouquet, so beautiful!" Lorna & Tom

A last minute preen before handing over this absolute delight to its Bride. This bouquet is quintessentially English, full of classic flowers such as clematis, delphinium, garden roses, stocks and scabious finished off with trails of scented jasmine. Gorgeous!
Buttonholes in gun cartridges...sure, why not?! I love a theme, and this wedding was full of them! I love a challenge, so when this couple asked me if I could fill these cartridges with flowers then I obviously said yes! I think they worked out beautifully.
As October draws to a close, I think this bouquet sums up what Autumnal weddings are all about. Texture, rich shades, grasses (or feathers!) and other bits like berries or crab apples.
I loved making this bouquet, it's perfect and so cool with the pheasant feathers added in.
This pretty picture popped up when I was scrolling the other day! I'd completely forgotten about this shoot with earlier this year. Just look at all those pretty petals sat in Jayne's gorgeous vases. Spring will be here soon πΈ
Dreamy! Take me back to coral peony season! π
All the Spring flowers were used to create this classic stunner. Anemones, ranunculus, paper whites, butterfly ranunculus and blowsy roses in soft peaches and cream.
Oooh, I love a bit of gold! This wreath is definitely one of my faves and this design may well wing its way onto my front door this year.
What's your favourite design? Something a bit traditional, or something a bit funky and modern?
Whatever your style, you'll find everything you need to create a proper showstopper at one of my Wreath Making Workshops this December.
More information can be found online, or just send me a DM with any questions you may have.
Images of these beauties have just popped into my inbox from the wonderful Caan at Defining Moments Photography (www.definingmoments.co.uk).
Looking outside at the meh weather makes me think we could all do with a bit of a colour boost today! Happy Hump Day!

Don't forget to look up!
There may not be any ledges to display flowers on, or the space to position a pedestal arrangement but there are so many different options when looking at places to add a floral touch.
I love to create hanging displays like this one at in Shoreditch. These shapely lush green tropical leaves created the perfect display along the centre of the room.
As we head into Winter, our thoughts and focus turn to next Spring when the colours change and the flowers become a little more scented!

I really love making these little mismatched buttonholes, they're the perfect way to capture all the colours and flowers used throughout your special day.
Plus you can tie in the flowers that you've chosen for your Bridal and Bridesmaid bouquets so that they all work perfectly together.

Are there any corners of your venue that could do with a little floral touch?
You might not see it when you're walking around so that's why it's so important to either use a preferred supplier or to do a site visit before your big day.
Get in touch to book in a call or a site visit at your chosen venue.
The look of love! I have the same look when I see the meadow at every year, and we were so lucky to flower at wedding at this beautiful venue when the meadow was in full flower.

The hoop of dreams...just look at that corallo rosehip doing its thing on the side! Absolutely perfect as a backdrop during the wedding ceremony, and the best thing is that it can be moved to behind the top table for the reception...double wow!

This bouquet is SO GOOD! Look at all that texture and the colours are so elegant...perfectly matching the approaching season.

Autumn is coming! And the colours and textures are changing and we're loving all the flowers that are bursting onto the scene right now. Foliages, berries and other autumnal delights are all making their way into the workshop for the weddings coming up this season.
