Did you know we do a monthly Wednesday ? We usually meet by the footbridge in the library car park on the first Wednesday of the month at 1pm. This August there's lots of holidays, so here's a postcard from some of our Walking lunches.

Lovely this lunchtime in with one of our new Lenka. It was actually ☀️and we swung past .priorylido to remind ourselves it’s there and would be good to go for a lunchtime swim -maybe we should instigate a swimming lunch 🏊‍♀️…?

it didn’t rain, there was a moment of sunshine 🌞 we’ve started back with our Wednesday this time on the SECOND Wednesday of the month

Had a good hour walking and spotting new life, the willow just in leaf and pretty yellow flowers (I’ve forgotten what they’re called already-someone help me…) and chatting all things community and how is such a great place

😄Hello to a new year full of opportunities

🎄Please share - we want people to know about this and come along. We're pretty good for volunteers for the big jobs, so no need to give up your Christmas Day if you are already busy. But please do spread the word.

🎄Christmas Together has been going for over 20 years, originally set up by Ware Churches together. It provides delicious food, company, warmth and a memorable Christmas Day for those who would otherwise be on their own.

🎄We can offer transport and can also deliver to people in their homes for those who find it difficult to get out.

We say it serves "Ware and surrounding villages" (including Hertford!!). People can make a donation if they want to come and feel they can afford to pay.

🎄Instead of Christmas pudding we're doing mince pies and Yule log, so if you wanted to you could make a cake or batch of mince pies to deliver beforehand. We may also be peeling spuds on Christmas eve. And if you are musical and can lead a round of carols or Christmas songs... then let us know.
