The incredible 'Beatniks' duo will be performing LIVE from 8pm. These guys are truly amazing, performing hits from the 60's & 70s, our last ever live music...

Luis will also be at The Oak on Friday night, to say his goodbyes to The Oak and all its superb customers too... 😢 🙏

Hi all, an update on The Oak, Stanstead Abbots...

Fullers Brewery have sold The Oak to Admiral Taverns, and while we think this could be good for The Oak (bigger selection of beers & ales etc), we have decided this is the right time for us to also move on.

THE OAK WILL NOT BE CLOSING, but it will be changing hands.

Our last trading day will be Monday July 29th (farewell party Friday 26th & Sat 27th).

We still love The Oak, and am confident it will be going into very good hands.

We can't thank our customers enough for their loyal support over the last 18 months or so.

A HUGE thank you to Luis who managed the pub so, so well for 18 months, and also to Sophie & Connor who have taken up the reigns so well for the last couple of months.

Hopefully, as part of our send off, England will win The Euro's this Sunday!

Thanks again all, hopefully see you before the end of the month for a farewell drink... 🙏🍻
