First piercings!💕 such an important experience and also a big part of creating your own identity.. I love doing first lobe piercings, because they're something you (usually) have wanted to do for a while, and you keep them forever! Bodily autonomy is so important, and I often get asked if I pierce childrens ears, I do, but aged 11+. It's important I'm able to have a decent coherent conversation with my young client, and they understand what's going on, and how they need to care for their new piercings. I'm always happy to take the extra time to explain anything if they're nervous (same with anyone of any age!) but what I WON'T do is put a child / young person through a traumatic situation because a parent has decided "it's time". I'd rather let that child walk out after a high five and ask them to come back when they're ready, and I'll be waiting! Than have ANYONE in tears in my chair. This then turns what would have been a negative experience into a positive one. Either way, reinforcing a within the studio, and a around piercing for that young person to keep for the rest of their days. I'm proud to be a part of that.

Re- open & jewellery insertion 💞 this one was sent to test me!😂
Why?..
(Not originally pierced by anyone at ) both piercings had closed over, despite being out for a matter of days. The tragus wasn't too challenging, although I'm sorry I made you wince a little using the taper!
~ the forward helix however..
Had built a huge irritation bump on the back of the piercing site, so I wanted to get that bad boy back in there and cause as little damage as possible. (original jewellery that both were pierced with was far too short - you'll notice they're now the correct length in the picture, the piercings are 8 weeks old. So technically this should have been her sized down jewellery- I can't imagine how painful they must have been when they were swollen!😢)
So after cleaning thoroughly and removing as much of the encrusted lymph as possible, without causing too much extra trauma to the area, finally got the jewellery back in situ.💕
(Jewellery was sterilised)
Client was then given PROPER aftercare advice, as prior advice was inadequate, so to avoid any more severe irritation bumps in the future -
And is hopefully feeling far more comfortable now!

First lobes (11y+)💕
One of my favourite piercings to do - as its something you will always remember, and you keep them forever. I always try to foster a positive, happy, supportive yet informative vibe while I'm piercing, never more so as to when working with younger /more nervous clients. Although this young lady wasn't scared one little bit!💖

WHY DIDN'T YOU POST MY PICTURE?~💕
NO, it's not because I didn't love your piercing(s), or I didn't think they were "cool" enough! -
💕If you have met me you'll be all too familiar with my excited noises when I do something I love- I can't help it🤷‍♀️ or sticking my tongue out when I'm concentrating (oops, cats out of the bag, I wear a mask!😂) - which is every piercing tbh! Be it a fresh piercing, or jewellery change, I love what I do, and love documenting my work. It's important to see both the immediate and long term result! Both for my benefit, and yours!💖
Also sometimes I keep a stash of pics ready to post all at once, so as not to clutter your feed. (Like an aray of belly button piercings for Eg.)
But unfortunately, sometimes the lighting isn't quite right, or your jewellery might not be in focus.😢
Also if I'm really busy I may not have time to snap more than a few pics- so as not to keep everyone waiting too long -but I'll always try to get a few more when you come back for your second visit!💖
So please don't ever think I've forgotten you, AND IF I DIDN'T TAKE A PICTURE Feel free to remind me!

Creating matching double helix 💕 client had one existing helix, and wanted it to be matched the other side, along with a second one below to accommodate the ring they usually wear with a 10mm drop.
(Which will eventually be worn in each piercing once healed)

One of my favourites from Saturday..💕 we created a triangle from two existing helix piercings by adding a .
~which had to be placed specifically to enable a hearing aid to still be worn comfortably with it.
I loved doing this one for you! And can't wait to take some pics once we get a shorter bar in there, as that will show off the shape even more! (Bar needs to remain pushed forwards to allow a comfortable fit)
I'll snap some to show how it fits with the too!💖
Obviously soon after piercing the client put her hearing aid back in, and it sits flush against the body of it, and it was lovely to see the smile on your face!

Mother and daughter lobe piercings 💕
~gold titanium smooth ring is first size down in 6 week old piercing, (I love how it frames her freckle ♥️)
~and singular plain titanium lobe piercing was redone to match the other side, as the hole had stretched from years of heavy jewellery, so now (once healed) both earrings will hang evenly again!😍 💜 👌

First size down for this young lady's septum and ni***es after 4 weeks!💖 (no nip pics on this post though, however we changed them from 16mm to 14mm, they look much more at home now! Before piercing they measured 12mm, so that will most likely be her final size) once completely healed all 3 could potentially go down one more size, as they're not yet fully healed they still need a bit of extra room to allow for if they get knocked and flare up, and to allow room for any lymph drainage. (And it's never good to restrict a healing piercing) But this is personal choice, and depends how snuggly you like your jewellery to fit. But all 3 are healing well and looking great!

~Remember your first size down is included in the price, as it's so important to reduce the length / diameter of your jewellery once the swelling has gone and you're (roughly) half way through your healing process. This can vary slightly person to person, 4-6 weeks is a good guide line. But some people swell more than others, or take longer to heal than others.
FULL healing will not be achieved until at least 12 weeks on ANY piercing.
If you're not sure, Saturdays you can pop in anytime and I'll be happy to take a look for you 💖👌

This wasn't your average nose piercing.. Not because the process was any different, but because this lovely woman had had an awful experience prior getting her nose pierced, and was pretty much traumatised from it..
~I will always do my very best to put your mind at ease, regardless of the complexities of what you are having pierced, it's a hard thing to do again if you've been to someone and they made a mistake / made you feel uncomfortable. If you're not happy, I'm not happy.
The old nose stud was removed long ago, but had left some scar tissue. So we pierced next to it - but far enough away that the scar tissue wouldn't affect the new piercing.
I also always pierce noses using labret bars ~ which was FINE as last time this lady had the curly type and definitely didn't want the same! Also, another benefit of doing it this way is they don't fall out / get caught / and are much less prone to irritation bumps.
After much hesitation, WE DID IT!😍 💜 👌

A special helix - a FIRST ever piercing, and a plethora of other ear piercings for you to see. I especially liked re- piercing the lobe of a gentleman who had removed them years ago because someone else didn't like them. BODY AUTONOMY matters!💖 # # # 😘

Septum in gold titanium, and a jewellery change for a troublesome nostril piercing..
💕
(Excuse the remnants of my marking lines!)
The nostril had developed a bump regardless of what the client tried- cleaning regime, cleaning frequency - even silver spray😳(PLEASE DON'T DO THIS) so, the only thing left to cause irritation is the jewellery.
We swapped out the thin nose screw for a 1.2mm labret bar. This avoids the jewellery falling out (which was an issue) and creates stability for healing.
-so hopefully you'll be feeling far more comfortable soon once those bumps have gone! (And no more silver spray!)♥️
