About Me

Hello! My name is Joseph and I’m from Hertfordshire, England. I have always been one of those who lived to eat, developing my skills in the kitchen largely as a means for me to eat nice food, though I now also relish cooking for as many people as possible in the hope that they get the same joy from food as I do.

Teaching myself using every available resource, these days I am one of the barbecue instructors and demo chefs on the courses and demonstrations at Riverside Barbecue School (https://www.riversidebbqschool.co.uk/), Hertford, and I occasionally do pop up food nights and special events, of varying cuisines, where I get to share my love of food with the public.

I enjoy writing about food and its associated kit and would love to hear from anybody looking for content, whether it’s articles, recipes or reviews. I am also more than happy to offer advice, where I can, so please do get in touch if you have any questions that I might be able to answer.

Ultimately, what started as an insular passion for cooking and eating for myself has evolved into a passion for everybody finding joy in food, whether I cooked it for them, helped them enjoy cooking it for themselves or simply get to hear about a great meal.
