Not a very clear pivture, the ducklings move too fast! Lovely to have them on the stream by the house.

The self catering flat at Fingle Bridge is available for 4 or 7 night bookings between 8th & 15th April.

Self catering flat now available. Private entrance, off road parking and access to large streamside garden. Accommodation consists of kitchen- diner, lounge area. Kitchen equipped with integrated fridge freezer, cooker, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, kettle and toaster. Lounge has 3 seater sofa bed and flat screen TV.
Double bedroom with built in wardrobes and storage and flat screen TV.
Full bathroom with shower over bath.
Towels and bedding provided.

The kingfisher paid a visit this morning.

Fingle Bridge is up and running after restrictions lifted.
Rooms thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between guests. Breakfast is served on separate tables when more than 1 group staying.
Please note due to high demand in August bookings are 2 night minimum.
I look forward to welcoming returning friends and new visitors.

Had a visit from a heron today.

Fingle Bridge B&B has re-opened and I am looking forward to welcoming guests again.
I am very conscious that you will need to feel safe so I would like to assure you that the following steps have been put in place.
Rooms will be cleaned and sanitised after every visit. Mattresses, duvets and pillows steam sanitised. All bedding and towels washed at a high temperature. Rooms will be left vacant for 2 days between guests.
All public areas ie. stairs, door handles, bannister rail, light switches will be cleaned and sanitised regularly.
Keys and TV remote will be sanitised.
Tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate and biscuits in sealed wrappers will be available in your room along with fresh milk and chilled water in your fridge.
I will serve a cold breakfast to your room at an arranged time. This will consist of cereal, fruit, croissants or brioche, butter and jam. Please advise on booking if you have any special dietry requirements.
On your arrival I will wear a mask and would appreciate if you would do the same.
To comply with government track and trace regulations I will need your name, address, phone and email.
