Art4Action

Hi all!

I hope you are all keeping well and having a lovely summer! 😊

You probably have noticed everything has been very quiet in regards to Art4Action the last few months. I've given a lot of thought to this decision, but I have decided not to continue with Art4Action for the foreseeable future. This may be disappointing news, but upon careful evaluation I simply no longer have the time to give Art4Action the attention that it deserves. I have been running Art4Action by myself since last year, on top of my own art business. I recently started a new part time job that is more involved than my previous part time role, therefore limiting the hours I have in the week for other projects. I'm sure you can all understand that my own art practice has had to take precedence.

I do strongly believe that the ethos behind Art4Action, of supporting local art and raising money for charities, is a worthwhile cause, and if any of you have felt inspired by the cause and want to take up the mantle - please do get in touch!

Finally, I want to thank you all the artists ever so much for their time and support for this initiative, it really has meant a lot. It has also been lovely to meet lots of you!

This initiative has achieved some great things - we've been able to donate to lots of different charities since our start in 2020 thanks to your involvement, helping with some really worthwhile causes. I've enjoyed my time working at Art4Action - possibly in the future I may explore this project again, but for now the time has come to say goodbye.

Introducing another artist that is participating in our upcoming Spring Online Auction, David Cole! We are so happy for David to be joining us again for this auction and appreciate his continued support to Art4Action.

David mainly paints Purbeck land and seascapes in watercolour using traditional techniques.

Our online auction will be raising funds for the Careline Appeal, taking place 21st - 30th April.
