It's a premium, professional grade, heat cured resin used to impregnate wood and other porous materials to make them harder, more resistant to moisture, and, if you want, to add integral colour with dyes. Cactus Juice is easy to use and does not significantly change the colour of most woods. It’s not solvent based and it can be reused again and again!
This heat activated stabilising resin hardens p***y, soft, and ageing wood - making it durable, strong, hard, and usable for turning applications and more. It transforms soft and spalted wood, making it suitable for shaping into bowls, knife handles, pens, and more.

Meet Emma Cook, aka The Tiny Turner!
At the age of 36, Emma is one of the youngest members of the Register of Professional Turners, and one of the few professional female woodturners working within the UK. 💪🏻👧🏻
After being introduced to woodturning by her uncle and her younger brother, James, she soon caught the bug and in 2013, Emma founded ‘The Tiny Turner’.
And yes, she is tiny - 4ft 10.5" - the half is important.

Meet the Maker! Jason Lock is a full time woodturner working out of Colchester Essex. He first learnt to turn wood back in 1999 during his apprenticeship in
carpentry and joinery.
After 10 years working as a carpenter a major accident left him in a wheelchair for life. Not wanting to give up working with wood, Jason started woodturning again and taught himself to turn sitting down.
Mostly self-taught, his passion is unique mixed resin and wooden art forms. He produces stunning pieces that are available for sale through his website and at the many shows where he exhibits.
A lot of Jason's work is traditional woodturning, but he also likes using resin and wood together. This gives him an opportunity to experiment, really be artistic and push the boundaries of the materials.
Jason stabilises wood with and does resin casting using Clear polyurethane and Amazing Clear Cast epoxy. He also uses a wide variety of the colouring options available through the House of Resin website.

All of the Furniture Finishes are curing finishes. The "Furniture Finish" is most similar to your typical Danish Oil. The "Furniture Butter" and "Furniture Wax" are made of both drying oils and hard waxes. None of the finishes have added dryers or synthetics.

House of Resin is run by the same team as Metal Clay Ltd, so you’ll still get our regular excellent customer service. We're friendly, fast, and like to think we're pretty easy to deal with. If you have any questions, we're only a phone call or an email away.
