I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Penny Douds and Charlotte Baker for judging for us on Saturday, they both set some lovely courses and we had some lovely feedback saying how friendly they both were. Also a big thank you to my moonlighters putting in lots of hard work too 😊😊😊
I also want to apologise to everyone if things didn't quite run as smoothly as normal, we normally pride ourselves on how much amazing feedback we get with people saying how friendly/welcoming and how well run our shows are, however a few days before this show our 4 year dog was diagnosed with cancer and wasn't well, you may have seen Kate wandering in from time to time but obviously needed to be with him so I took over doing my normal jobs for the day as well as trying to write up results etc ... I did make a couple of mistakes but was cleared up on the day, again I do apologise, hopefully our next show will be back to normal and looking forward to seeing you all. Unfortunately Mr Piggy lost his battle yesterday and we had to say goodbye to him 💔💔💔

Just a update .... unfortunately due to a double booking we're unable to hold our 2 day show at Glenda Spooner in July 😊😊 but we have added an extra day to our winter series at Glenda Spooner, so we will now be starting on the 21st September 😃😃😃 we will also be holding 4 fun comps at our field in Wool at the seven stars pub DT2 8RL, 2 X Steeplechase and we are going to try out our fun class " stick or twist" all 3 runs for £15 . We are going to do combined G1-2 and G3-5, if you wish to run a G6 or G7 you are more than welcome but only as CRO.

DATES

Thus 16th May
Thurs 13th June
Thurs 11th July
Thurs 8th August

Your dog must be a minimum of 16 month's old.

We are going to cap it at 20 large/intermediate and 20 Small/Mediums.

Small and medium judging starts at 6pm.
Large and intermediate judging starts at 7:15.

Rules for "Stick or twist".....

The course will only consist of jumps and tunnels with a maximum of 12 obstacles.

Marking will be as KC Rules.

After you have run, you will be asked to stick or twist but only if you have a qualifying round (ie not eliminated). If you have been eliminated it's game over! If you are clear or have faults you then get the option to stick, your time and faults will then be logged. If you feel you could go faster or get fewer faults then you can opt to twist, you will then run the course again but your first run will then be deleted and your 2nd run will count.

No times or faults will be available to see until class has finished.

Just want to say a big thank you to my 2 judges this weekend, Antony and Rachel, they both set some lovely courses, also to my amazing moonlight team for all their hard work and anyone else who stepped in. Unfortunately this was the last one in this series but what a amazing series it was, I can't wait for October when we start again 😀😀😀 I also want to thank everyone who came along and supported our shows and the lovely messages some of you sent us, it's really appreciated 😀😀 and finally a massive well done to our series Winners ........

We have a few changes coming up for next series, a change to grading, and we are going to add a fun class too, based on a steeplechase style of course and will be called, twist or stick, more details will be available soon, good luck for the spring/summer shows and we will see you all in October 🙂🙂🙂
