"hair"
It took me two hours to get up to brush my hair today. Some days I wake up and I tidy my whole room in an hour, wash my hair, organise my things, read books, meditate. Some days I wake up and don't leave my room except to refill my water bottle or to get some food, sometimes I don't even do that.
I only wash my hair once a week, the reality being that it ends up pretty fu***ng minging, and I just let it stay that way.
Self care isn't always as simple as just "washing your hair" or "cleaning yourself", sometimes leaving your room is a task in itself. And that's ok. It doesn't always have to be perfect. It won't always be easy, but if you can overcome obstacles once you can overcome them again. Whether that's getting up to wash your hair, tidy your room, get some food, or face the loss of someone in your life.
