Latchford Giants U9s 2024

Our first knock of the year as we prepared to represent Latchford Giants ARLFC in the 2024 U9s season!

After spending the winter training with our pals at Rylands Sharks U9s 2024 we got to see the teams come together again today, to put all their hard work and efforts, into a game and play each other.

A fantastic game with great skill, defence & teamwork was had and brilliant to see all the boys, girls, coaches and parents back together mixing, showing what rugby league is all about!

3 amazing debuts today for us as well, Jack, Archie & George all putting on a fantastic show!

2024, starts here!

We start our pre-season friendlies with a game against our friends at Rylands Sharks U9s 2024 tomorrow. We have had a fabulous off season training with them at Sprogs so tomorrow we get to put it all together in a game situation.

Mostly though, we’re sure everyone is looking forward to having hot dogs at The Kings Club together.

Our Giants will see 3 debutants tomorrow too all excited and ready to go! Looking forward to seeing George, Archie & Jack pull on the Maroon & Amber 💜🧡

The grind doesn’t stop as we get ready for the 2024 season! Another top session from Dave at Warjukwai Judo Club providing our Latchford Giants ARLFC youngsters with a different session still tailored to rugby using Judo disciplines. We absolutely loved it!!

A huge session last week too as we kicked off 2024 with a massive bootcamp!

Absolute beast of a session, all completed with fantastic attitudes!

Our pre-season went up another notch today as we had a session with Dave (the legend) at Warjukwai Judo Club 💜🧡

All the Giants loved it and can’t wait for another session there next week 🙌🏻

We were proud to join Rylands Sharks U8s 2023 as we will be now until the end of 2023 in a joint venture as both teams train hard preparing for the step up into U9s next year 🧡💜💙🤍

It was the final time this season we went back to The Kings Club after a hard fought game and so the players & coaches presented Donna with a bunch of flowers to say thank you for always looking after us and out for us throughout 2023!

RESULT:

Latchford Giants had our longest away trip so far as we headed north to Leyland! The trip was a great one as we got the win, but more importantly we all had a great morning with some fantastic rugby league on show.

Both teams showing what they have in defence, and both teams scoring some well worked tries, including one absolute peach from the Giants in the second half, as a move that has been in the works for a number of weeks came off!!
