Hi all,

Thanks for your great comments on Lando's photo from yesterday.

A few updates as some things had got away from us:

1. Thank you to everyone for supporting us with the orders for the calendars. We made just over £92 and with a rummage down the back of the sofa, pinching some change from the cup holder in the car and Molly and Lando donating some of their pocket money we will be donating £100 to the Springer Rescue this coming week!

2. Today is the last day to enter our giveaway (see the pinned link at the top of our page) we will do the draw tomorrow and will then contact the winner to arrange postage......its free to enter so head over to the post and follow the instructions, it takes less than a minute😁

3. As most of you are now aware my mobility is much improved so we do have some interesting stuff coming up over the next few months so make sure you keep a look out!

Thanks for all your good wishes and I'm sorry that I haven't replied to them all yet.

However, we have good news to share as the doctor is now happy that I've made sufficient progress so I can return back to work in the New Year and I don't need anymore visits to the hospital.

The CT scan shows good healing although it's taken longer than expected.

It's a huge relief that we have an end point now and hopefully we can get back to some sense of normality

As you can see Lando is so excited!!!!!

Last minute night away, found a nice little bolthole to hideaway for the night.

All fed ( The food was simple comfort food but excellent and great value for money) and watered and enjoying a nice relaxing night in front of the fire......After an exciting day!

Lando takes his Neighbourhood Watch responsibilities very seriously. We literally cannot come home undetected 😅

With the year nearing the end we have been planning our targets for 2024 but have also been thinking of all our lovely followers, old, new and future ones!

We wanted to find a way to promote what we do but to also thank everyone for their support over quite a difficult year.

I'm really not happy.......Dad got us up early so he could watch brum brums on the TV. I have now missed out on 3 hours beauty sleep (Not that I need it) he better have some really good treats for me.

We tend not to get hugely excited about Christmas and find the constant barrage of Xmas ads starting so early take the shine away from a very important time of the year.

We try to avoid the commercialisation and celebrate the important things, we like the tradition and Keswick was looking very traditional this weekend........beautiful

We arrived in Keswick late Friday morning and decided to watch the sun go down later in the day. The view couldn't be anymore perfect than this

Whenever we are in Keswick we have to visit Max Out in the Lake District in Hope Park Games and Cafe

We really do love it here and is our spiritual home.

We are absolutely shattered from a lovely time away, we planned to catch up today ( this afternoon) with you all but we just want to switch off, relax and unwind. We promise to catch up tomorrow and hope you all have a lovely evening.

Homeward bound after a great 5 days, loads to catch up on due to no/ little Internet.

The weather forecast is looking good for tge next few days so we are up and away to a new location🏔🏞

We have decided to get away for a few days, we have very little Internet so we might be a little quieter than normal.

I don't think that pate on toast is fit for human consumption Mum, better just to give it me and I will dispose of it for you!
