For those dog lovers, I am now making draught excluders and tote bags in dog patterned fabric. I am sorry if I can’t find fabric with specific dog breeds but I have tried my hardest to get a good selection.

It’s this time of year again where I am now taking orders for draught excluders. A few people have asked me already as they want a few for their house to keep in their rooms to keep the heat in. We maybe in for a bumpy ride this year due to the energy prices increasing so people are doing what they can to.

My lovely draught excluders will certainly stop heat escaping from under the doors.

Just some things I have made and altered recently.

Bench cushion and shortening curtains.

Do you have bags of your children's clothes when they were babies, you don't want to get rid of them as you want to keep them. Have you thought about turning those baby clothes into a memory blanket.

I make memory blankets from babies clothes, this makes a lovely keepsake.

I also make memory bears as well.

A project I completed at the beginning of June. I recovered a sofa and it’s cushions from a worn out duck egg blue cord to a petrol fine needlecord. I loved making this😊

I am going to start making handmade dog beds. All are rectangle, using a medium firm foam, 10cm thickness with a heavy duty waterproof cover topped with a fleece zipped washable cover in a choice of 9 colours. I have 4 sizes as follows:-

Small 65cm x 45cm x 10cm = £60
Medium 80cm x 70cm x 10cm = £85
Large 110cm 75cm x I0cm = £115
Extra Large 140cm x 90cm x 10cm = £145

Choice of colours, Black, Brown, Navy Blue, Grey, Light Stone, Petrol, Light Blue, Light Pink, Jade

Why did I come up with the name Caesar’s Handmade Cards and Crafts.

Well I have had a few names but none of them seemed right. I lost my beloved horse September 2018, he was 25 and He had been with my since he was 7 years old but had known him since he was 5. He was my life and my everything, apart from my daughter that is.

I coped very badly when he had gone over the rainbow bridge and ended up with depression. I needed to find something to help me and I found crafting really helped calm my mind.

What was such a negative impact in my life has now turned into a real positive.

Caesar’s memory carries on with me with my sewing business.
