Our Christmas Book Spa is an evening of shopping, festive nibbles and book chat. Join us at Warwick Books this St. Nicholas Day, as Pauline shares the joy she experienced during this beloved celebration growing up in France. As a child, she adored the magic of St. Nicholas, and now she invites you and your family to relive this tradition in our cozy bookshop. Join us on December 6th for a festive evening, where you can browse for Christmas gifts with a 10% discount on all purchases made during the evening, and find recommendations for the children in your life. You’re welcome to play St. Nick yourself, finding just the right books for loved ones, while enjoying French treats like gingerbread, chocolates and mulled wine. Alongside the French customs, Pauline encourages visitors to take inspiration from other holiday traditions—such as Iceland's "Jolabokaflod," where books are exchanged on Christmas Eve. On Sunday we all went for an amazing day out for BA conference! Yesterday we had the pleasure of being invited to Annie Garthwaite’s book launch for her second book “The King’s Mother” It was held at the St Laurence’s Church in Ludlow, it was absolutely amazing to stand where Cecily once stood and it was an absolute pleasure to listen to Annie describe the extraordinary life of Cecily.
