Position: Experienced Joiner / Mediawall installer
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Tyne and Wear & Surrounding Areas
Time: Available for immediate start

Due to further expansion, we are looking to invite a full-time installer to our ever-growing team. Washington Fireplaces specialises in the fabrication and installation of mediawalls & fireplaces.

Your main role will be the survey and installation of mediawalls of all kinds. This could be in a customer’s home, a commercial environment such as studios, bars or restaurants, or in our showroom.

A joinery or building trade background would be beneficial, and the candidate should be confident communicating with both trade professionals and private customers. Although additional training will be given, the ideal candidate will have prior experience of the following:

– Using precise measuring tools
– Using hand tools such as saws, drills and routers etc
– Experience working in kitchen fitting / joinery or similar building work
– A full, clean, UK driving licence is required

Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be organised, with good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the desire to produce work to a consistently high standard.

The role can be physically demanding, the ideal candidate will be competent in safe manual handling. The relevant safety certifications are beneficial.

Available for an immediate start. Please submit your CV & optionally, a short cover letter explaining what you can bring to the team and how your experience is relevant to the position.

– Company vehicles and tools are provided for use during business hours.
– Competitive rates of pay OTE circa £40k per annum depending on experience ( + possible performance bonus)
