I am now able to share a couple of bear repairs which were gifted at Christmas.

Much loved bears, one was a surprise for a gent who’s much loved panda was in need of patching and dressing, and the other belonging to a lady who’s husband paid for the repair as part of her Christmas gift.

It is always a pleasure to make bears feel better and ready for more cuddles 🧸🥰

This week has been all about bears that are in memory of a loved one.
Firstly 6 bears commissioned by a very special,brave man, who wanted to gift the bears before the terminal illness took him away from them. Made from his work polo shirts, each bear had his name and the family members name embroidered on the paws.
Second was a very large Bear commissioned by a lady who missed her beloved staffie,Cassie, and wanted something special to hold the ashes safely. Many tears where shed when she saw her.

It is always an honour to be asked to help with special memories.

I am now offering one to one assistance with sewing projects. Over the years I have often been told “I have a sewing machine and would love to have the confidence to make things again” so I have decided to offer my experience to help those of you who would like to get back to making things, repairing/altering your own clothes etc.

Thank you to everyone who has asked me this year to be part of their wedding, making dresses, suits etc fit perfectly, making bespoke bears and repairing, altering clothes to fit.
Next year my business will be concentrating on the bespoke bears and bear repairs.

Bit of a road trip today to deliver a very special bear to his new home and parish. Father Ted has joined the Reverend Talisker at her parish just outside Oxford. He has all his correct attire to wear too!
Obviously he was safely belted in while traveling in the front seat 😊

I have a few bears that have become available for immediate purchase. These are discounted from normal prices, include being boxed and can be delivered within 5 miles of PO7. Postage would be extra

It is cold and wet outside so I am pleased to be in my workroom working on bears for an event in just under 2 weeks time 🧸🧸🥰🎅🏻

Something new for yesterday’s craft event in the village. I created a smaller rag doll pattern but still with jointed legs and arms.
Here she is dressed in a festive tartan. Hope you like her 🥰

UPDATE he was auctioned and raised £600!!!!

This bear has a very special job tomorrow evening, to help raise loads of money at a boxing event raising money for a cancer charity. All those taking part are just fab normal people who have trained for months to do this.
It is my pleasure and honour to support this event with this special bear 🧸❤️

Final day at Broadlands Garden show. 2 bears have already gone to their new homes, maybe more will do today 🥰

As I take time, like many of you tomorrow, to remember and reflect on the life of HM Queen Elizabeth II, my phone will be switched off and any messages will be answered on Tuesday.

Exciting times with my bears and rag dolls as these were collected yesterday by a lady who has a beautiful shop in Petersfield, Hampshire selling baby and young children’s clothing. She has chosen my bears to sell in her shop!! More details soon 🐻🥰

Anyone living in Denmead who would like to see the limited edition jubilee bear, she will be with me along with some of my other bears at the Denmead Grange Summer Fete this Saturday 23rd July between 11-3pm.
There are lots of crafts, face painting etc to see so why not pop along and say hi.

A long term patient of the bear hospital went home this week. He needed lots of work to make him feel better but is now at home with all his friends having cuddles 🧸🥰

This is Barnaby bear on a recent holiday to Cumbria.

I can now share these special bears that I was commissioned to make as a wedding gift for a lovely couple who were married recently.
I was allowed to know the wedding colours so I could match the clothes I made and the flowers perfectly.
The bears are made by me from the best quality teddy mohair and are traditional style, fully jointed with glass eyes.

Please remember my bears are not toys and therefore not suitable for young children to play with.

Over the many years I have been working with brides,it has always saddened me when brides have had to come to me after alterations have gone wrong elsewhere. This evening a bride collected her dress from me after I had had to put right not one but 2 peoples alterations.
The smile on her face when she put it on was worth all the hours I have put in the past 3 days.
I’m sure she will now enjoy her wedding on Saturday 😊.
On a brighter note, keep an eye open for news about my bears and a fabulous shop where you will be able to purchase some. 😉🧸🧸
