⚠️ Service Update ⚠️

Over the years, many customers only provide their address the day of the appointment, be it for privacy/security concerns (booking a business through FB can have it's risks) and we have respected this in the past.

However moving forward, your appointment will ONLY be confirmed once we are provided with FULL NAME, ADDRESS AND A CONTACT NUMBER.

Without this information you will not be given an appointment with us.

CONTEXT:

Today we 'missed an appointment' as the customer didn't provide the address when booking. (As mentioned above this is common for their own personal reasons)

Possibly (my best guess) due to a network/signal issue, the customer did not receive our text (in good time approx 5 hours) asking for the address, and I was unable to reach them by phone.

As such I was unable to attend.

Screenshots were sent showing my attempts to make contact to get the address.

However, being told after showing I made every attempt to get the address that a 75yo lady has been waiting in for me and being told I have inconvenienced a chain of people for something I have no control over (not getting my calls or text) is simply heartbreaking for me, as I take everything to do with my business to heart.

Anyone who knows me personally or has used my service knows I am passionate about, and love what I do and will always do what I can to help people.

As such, to prevent any chance of this happening in the future, to protect the customer and our reputation, we are making the changes mentioned above.

I hold no I'll will towards said customer as they are likely as frustrated as me, but I am updating my onboarding process to improve our service.

We are currently booking from the 7th June. If you would like to use our service, to avoid disappointment for short notice appointments, please book in plenty of time 🫶

⚠️ NOTICE ⚠️

We are a small local business. If you cancel within 24hours of your clean, we will now require a deposit to rebook. This deposit is non refundable if you cancel again.

Last week, we had a cancellation EVERY DAY within 24 hours of the appointment. One which we drove 30 minutes to attend and nobody was home. Already today (Sunday) one appointment has cancelled for tomorrow.

We are very unlikely to fill these appointments within such a short period of notice.

Only 2 had a reasonable excuse, the others were down to poor planning.

This is extremely frustrating for us and we simply cannot continue to operate with our income reduced in such a way.

If this trend continues, we will introduce a non refundable deposit for every appointment which we would simply rather not have to do.

Please be considerate when booking a service.
