I’m feeling uplifted and revived after my treatment with Grace, our new Osteopath at the practice. I have a postural strain in my left shoulder, which flares up every now and then, aggravated by a repeated movement pattern (work related!). If I let it build up, it can lead to tension in the neck muscles and restricted movement of my left upper body generally. It is not ACUTE and there is no significant inflammation, but it does make me feel uncomfortable all day and can build up to a headache if I’ve loaded it too much.
Grace worked her magic by mobilising and releasing my scapulothoracic area and my neck and finished with a lovely gentle technique at the base of my cranium which left me feeling completely relaxed in my body and in my mind. A good dose of oxytocin was with me for a few hours afterwards which was a nice side effect of the treatment.
If you have any aches, pains, niggles or restrictions, I can highly recommend Grace’s caring and skilful work. She is also brilliant at supporting pregnant women, providing treatment for arthritis and managing sports injuries.

Hi all, I am a 4th year Osteopathic medicine student, and I am in need of participants for my research project. It focuses on sleep patterns in obstetric patients and the effect of improving patient healthcare education. I am looking to recruit participants in their first trimester of pregnancy. All aspects of my research can be conducted from the participant’s home, online and via Zoom, so geographical location does not matter.
