🏅 Nascot Wood Junior School: 101 belts

Additionally, we have 53 competitors at the Watford Competition on 7th July 2024, all set to receive their belts or potentially double grade!

Last night we were honoured to be invited to sponsor a local Diwali 100 Member Event in Aylesbury. We had the opportunity to meet lots of families to explain about what we teach and how we can help their children grow in confidence. Unbeknownst to us there was an ex adult member that had also brought his two daughters to our classes and stood up in front of all the families present and gave us a glowing report about what he and his children gained from our classes. It’s so great to catch up with old members and that they still value their own and children’s experience with us as a valuable one.
We had a fabulous evening and felt blessed to join the celebrations. We are already looking forward to being invited for next year for the amazing food, singing and dancing!

Did you know that in our children’s classes we allow our members to wear ZKSMA grip socks?
ZKSMA Grip socks are great for our younger members for safety and hygiene.
We have got our new version in extra small, small and medium which can be purchased from our shop in the members area.
£3 for one pair or £5 for 2 pairs which will get delivered to your instructor at the class your child attends.
We want to remind you we don’t allow other grip socks other than our ones found in our shop as we know that don’t mark out mats.

We have been busy since the beginning of the summer holidays. We have sent emails out to confirm everyone’s class allocation so please do log into the members area to check. If you are not happy with the class allocation please message via the members area. The office is now closed until 28/8/23 and we will reply to you on our return.

Classes are running as normal today.
We will be running on the bank holiday Monday 8/5/23 on a consolidated class timetable at our venues.
Children’s class for 5 - 16 years 6pm - 6.45pm.
We return to normal the following Monday.

We are consolidating classes on the May bank holidays due to the expected lower class attendance. Classes will be open on the 1st of May and the 8th of May and will start at 6 pm - 6.45pm for all children from mini ninjas, junior and teen ma.
We return back to our normal timetable on 15th and 22nd of May until we close for the May half term on 29th May.

Today we had the first of our sessions dedicated to preparing our brown tags for their black belt grading.

We were really impressed with you all. An excellent work ethic and good standards were on display. Good work boys! 🥋

This week we were particularly impressed with two of our senior grades from the Wednesday Teen MA class.

Reece and Jack were displaying excellent throwing techniques during their lesson - good work boys!

Today, Jimmy had a fantastic final class and we wish him well on his future martial arts journey!🦘

Excellent focus and work ethic from our 12-noon Junior MA class today. The children did so well we added in some additional techniques to the lesson. Students of particular note today were Zachary and Alex - well done boys!🙂
