I was called out for a leak which required an extensive repair including reboarding and tiling. A new shower and bath panel were also added at the request of the customer.

An interesting job this week. With normal access to the bath taps not possible due to their placement, an access hatch was added in the wall behind. The taps were replaced and access can be gained easily again if needed.

Recently replaced an expansion vessel on this system because the old one had lost pressure meaning a constant stream of water being let through a safety valve. All fixed now, with no more water being wasted👍😊

Monday was a day of replacements, first off I was asked to replace a scale inhibitor because the current one had seen better days. Then onto a tap, plug and waste replacement in another property.

I was recently asked to add a radiator to the current central heating system in the loft of a local property. Unfortunately the wall was too thin to just attach the rad too, so I had to build a frame behind. I built the frame and used some spare insulation behind to help keep the heat in the room. Warmed the room up nicely 👍

We have just completed another bathroom transformation for a couple in Irthlingborough.

A recently finished bathroom renovation for a returning customer. Was a great project to carry out and with a great end result 👍 happy all round 😊

After being called to a long term leak in a shower room, and finding that access was not available I removed the panelling and shower tray to check for damage. Unfortunately the plasterboard walls and subfloor were rotten. After removing it all, I laid a damp proof membrane down before rebuilding the floor, walls, repiping the shower and panelling around the shower. Functionality restored with an updated aesthetic 👍😃

The customer said to leave the boxing near the toilet and under the basin so he could do something under it.

Another previous customer of mine came back to me and asked if I could do a couple more jobs for her. Installing guttering on her shed and connecting it to a water butt. Connecting another water butt after adjusting the downpipe to suit. Adjusting drain pipework so that it goes into her drain and not all over the path. And replacing the overflow pipe on her kitchen sink. Also popped to her dad's to replace a broken nut on a basin waste and replace a toilet seat. A good day's work 👍😊

3 flush valve changes in the same house was the job today. Completed the job for another satisfied customer.

I was asked to fix a length of guttering last week. The tape was covering the fact that the gutter wasn't attached to the fitting, I replaced it with the correct length piece and now all is working great.

I got called to an emergency leak which was coming from an old lead pipe, the pipe used to feed an outside toilet and had been previously capped. I cut it right back and capped it again with the correct size fittings.

2 baths have had a recent reseal. The first had a rubber seal installed which failed so we went back to just silicone and the second was just old and leaking so again refreshed with some new silicone. No more leaks!

I was asked to fix a leak which I found to be a loose coupler and also to change the 2 circulation pumps on the same systems. All Replaced and ready to go!

Been a time for kitchen and utility work recently. An install for a customer who has had a new kitchen put in and a tidy up of the pipework at a previous customers new property to see them through as a temporary measure.

So I had a call a few weeks ago about a customer being left without a sewer pump because the current pump had broken. The previous person who installed a pump last year took it away to be 'repaired' and never returned it or to do the job. I was asked to supply and fit a new pump which I gladly did and what a difference a good clean up and a decent working pump can do! All in all a happy customer 👍😊

I haven't posted in a while but I've been busy! This is the latest install of a shower tray which was cut to size to fit in a recessed walk in shower, which had leaked through the ceiling. As you can see the ceiling is now ready to be made good by a plasterer who will work their magic.

Another job for a local small business. Bunty's Tea Room required a new sink to be installed, so copper and waste pipe adjusted to suit the new sink and a scale inhibitor installed too.

We had the pleasure of helping a couple of ladies get their business off the ground recently. What was a shoe shop has now been transformed into a hair salon. We have put in all the water supplies and waste pipe needed for the salon itself, we also put in a nice vanity unit and connected up a new water heater for hand washing and finally put in a washing machine valve. Hopefully The Healthy Hair Company are happy with the work and busy with their customers.

We had been asked to carry out a bathroom refurb for a couple in Irchester. It was a complete strip back to stud and start again. We carried out everything from the boarding, tiling and plumbing to finishing touches.

A recent job for a lovely local lady, the original job was to change the pan connector but as you can see it turned out to be a lot more! I was going to replace the vertical part of the soil stack as plan B, but unfortunately the horizontal part had collapsed in. A full replacement was required and when she is ready a bathroom refit will commence! Happy customer, happy me!!

A recent job carried out for a family in Raunds. Unfortunately the person who fitted this unvented cylinder did not install it to building regs. I was asked to come and make it a viable install, so all 3 safety devices now have a visual indicator if there is any issues and comply with regs. Happy customer, happy me!
