This 5.5% IPA was created as a special and poured by Prestons Moorbrook pub when they recently celebrated a 10yr anniversary. We loved it and could easily keep it for ourselves, but it will be available here this Saturday 😂🤣🤣🤣🍻🍻🍻

Brewed with our mate Rich from The Moorbrook, to celebrate his 10 year anniversary of owning the pub. The Moorbrook was also the first pub in Preston to pour CHBC!

This June, we're going loopy with 2 fabulous artists using live looping technology. They use electronic music equipment to build each track layer by layer and the results are amazing covers of many of your favourite artists. 🤪

Our 3rd event is on Saturday the 8th June and features the excellent party band, Naked Stereo. 🎼

All events are on Saturdays. The events are public with ticket entry. The events run from 4pm - 11pm. Each event will have a drinks reception, afternoon entertainment, a party band and DJ till close.

Food and Drink is available to buy at the events. Your arrival drink is included in the ticket price.

Tickets are sold via the Skiddle website and links to the tickets are via the individual Facebook event pages.

We've added another delicious Gin from Black Powder: who are based in Weeton, near Kirkham.

Blood Orange Gin:

The Black Powder Gin team has gone and made an expression bursting with blood orange brilliance. It'll do marvellously in a G&T, garnished with a wedge of fresh orange.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt:
Tangy and sweet with loads of orange and fresh clementine notes, plus toasty juniper balancing things out.

The countdown has begun for our second yard event this Saturday the 18th May.

Weather is alway on the tip of our British tongues, and it's clearing up with Saturday afternoon looking fine, around 19 degrees.

You'll notice some improvements at this event:

So much love and great feedback last night, and it was a pleasure to host and entertain you all. 😍

We also received some helpful suggestions which we will be working on for our next event on 18th May.

Tickets for our May event will go live next week and there will be a limited number of cheaper tickets for our existing followers. The May event will feature an amazing Rock n Roll band called the “Swinging Bricks”, a female vocalist in the afternoon and some tweaks to the food and drinks menu based on your feedback.

Anyone who came last night is more than welcome to send a private message with suggestions on how we can improve.

In 2015 Vocation Brewery was born with one member of staff, a rebuilt chicken shed, and a dog for company.

Helme's Farm Meats

Our neighbours started an on-farm butchery business back in 2017. The family business has grown and they now have an on-farm shop with some of the best meats in Lancashire.

This was another easy decision to make when we looked for a supplier for our pop-up kitchen.

We'll be BBQing their pork chipolatas and 4oz beef burgers. We're also using their chicken to make Greek Style Gyros.

*A Jack Fruit version of the Gyros will be available to suit a Vegan diet*

Our first supplier announcement is Farm Yard Brew Co and this delicious IPA will be on the tap. The CHAFF ale has long been a favourite and an obvious choice for us.

A New England inspired session IPA that brings bags of tropical & citrus fruits on the palette with a floral aroma. A low bitterness makes this a super smooth approachable drop.

Pairs well with beach balls & the smell of sun cream.

Allergen advice: for allergens, including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold.

Ingredients: water, barley, wheat, hops & yeast.

This beer is unfined & vegan friendly.
