Over 150,000 steps by Elmtree staff today volunteering at Weston Carnival. Great to see so many families enjoying the amazing show by the Carnvial Clubs and the awesome carts and entries!

A fun evening supporting as marshals. A big thanks needs to go to the Elmtree staff who gave up their Friday evening.

Thats a wrap on a very enjoyable HAF summer project!

Just a big thank you to our supporters who always help us give our children a great time.

This year included Bakers Dolphin Noah's Ark Zoo Farm , The Donkey Sanctuary , Brunel's SS Great Britain Carantoc Art , Secret World Wildlife Rescue Avon and Somerset Police , St Fagans National Museum of History , Weston-super-Mare Museum, Ezzys Ices and North Somerset Council!

We’ve supported well over 50 children with an average of 28 on site every day, 1240 rolls have been consumed, approx 1280 bags of crisps, over 970 pieces of fruit, over 840 yoghurts, 800 babybel and every single biscuit we bought! 4 Food challenges including pasta bake and curry took place. At today’s celebration nearly 50 pizzas were made along with 55 ice creams bought!

We’ve had artists doing spray painting, we’ve made bird feeders, magnets, wind chimes etc. 30 Tye Dye T Shirts, 12 Pottery Hedgehogs. There were lots of trips to the park, games of tennis, lots of football, trip to the beach and of course lots of horns and police sirens! Huge thanks to all our staff who have given up their summer break to support the children too. Also proud to support our local community with leftover food today being given away to Somewhere to Go Homeless Charity.

Thank yous of massive proportion go to the team behind the scenes who ensure HAF happens.

Last week finished with a visit from our local PCSOs. The learners enjoyed meeting the officers with the highlight being exploring their police vehicle! Let's see what this week has in store!

Elmtree are here to support primary aged learners through to the transition into Year 7. This form allows us to assess the support we can offer and the opportunity for success alongside the current learners onsite. If we are unable to support the learner onsite as soon as possible outreach opportunities will be discussed.
