The loft is not open this evening, whilst prep is done for tomorrow evening for what I can only describe as an insane balloon drop, with over a £1000 in prizes stuffed into those balloons.

Can safely say this week has been absolutely flooring, I would have posted earlier but In all honestly I’ve not been able to. Im struggling to even write this now but have to as getting enough bashing for not releasing a statement, alongside rumours, speculation and the trolls.

To say The incident has floored myself and the promoters of the night would be a massive understatement.Those who have seen me, spoken to me or first hand know the circumstances of my involvement with the incident will fully understand why this has been delayed in being written.

Tragically a young man died during the early hours of Saturday morning, following a welfare incident that progressed into a medical incident. Every effort was made to maintain life but none of the crew or individuals involved gave up trying to bring him back.

Im not going to go into the specific details of the incident, as it would be unfair to do so. The family are more than aware of the details and I have had multiple conversations with them regarding the incident which I have to say has been heartbreaking.

So thank you to the papers asking for statements and details of the incident, If and when the family want that released then they’ll be the ones to release them not us. Please don’t tag the individual or name him, give the family the time, privacy and space they need please.

Please give the family and friends time, privacy and room to process. Our thoughts go out to them in what is certainly an awful time.

Due to the current weather and concerns over customers safety. We’ve taken the decision to remain closed this evening. It may seem that the worst has passed, but given that many businesses surrounding the area have sustained signage damage or have loose fittings we feel these would present a substantial risk for any follow up weather.

We feel that to encourage people to come out this evening would be foolish and we’d rather you all keep safe.
