Even in Spain he has to have things growing! He made a little greenhouse in our cappuccino cup to re-home some orange blossom, potted a little palm seedling he found on the path to the beach and collected a bunch of palm seeds to take home to plant up. Fingers crossed we can get the orange blossom (or flor de naranja 🇪🇸 ) to root as its fresh scent reminds us of all our holidays here over the years. I’m not yet quite sure how we will manage to get the packed in our cases though 🤔😅 Happy Monday everyone

Apologies for the radio silence over the last couple of weeks, we have been hard at it on plot 30 when we haven’t been on the shop floor … but, working and playing gardeners 👩🏼‍🌾 is definitely keeping us smiling, it’s what we love 💚 so all the heavy lifting and building is now done, everything is in place for us to start growing. We know we are a little behind but we wanted everything in place to make this an enjoyable adventure. And we will catch up because we have done things a little differently to most.. we will share our secret soon! 😉So, chapter 2 will start soon but first a couple of weeks off with the fam to have some fun before we start our growing 🌱 For now, look out for our little montages of how we got here from the overgrown, unloved, swampy dumping ground that it was 😅Isn’t it amazing what we can do when we put our heart and soul into something 💚🌱

The first photo was taken on 1st January 2022. The second today, 13th March 2022. Although we have miles to go, we are so pleased with our progress so far 💚

**Allotment update** we’ve got a lot (no pun intended!) of work to do! 🤯 Our plot is gradually sliding into our garden so first things first we need to rebuild the wall, this will sadly slow our progress on the plot down a little but it’s got to be done! Then the levelling can commence. As drab as it looked today in the dull winter light we did come across a little pond, hoping we can encourage some hungry pond life over time to keep the beasties off our veg! 🐸Wanting to get stuck into our grow but first off to find a brickie!🧱🌱
