Thanks to the irresponsible ar****le that blocked our ladies toilets by flushing an entire pack of bog roll, The Cove will be closed today while Shaggy and Tony sort out the problem. Tonight’s event will still be going ahead.
Right. How to word this so scammers don’t latch on to it…. If you don’t have the essential paperwork to access The Cove this evening, then unfortunately you won’t be able to get in. All of said paperwork has now been distributed and capacity has been achieved. The same goes for tomorrow night too. Sorry.
Apologies if we are slow in responding to messages on socials etc. We’re absolutely flat out busy. Thanks for your patience.
Tickets for tonight’s Resurrection have sold out. Sorry.
It’s that time of year again folks. This time we aren’t going to take over The Little Angel after the goth festivities. We’re doing it tomorrow instead, before we’re utterly exhausted.
Tony G and DJ Jay Sinful will be entertaining early arrivals from 8 o’clock Wednesday evening. Joined by one or two mystery guests (hopefully). Come along and join us to begin your Autumn Goth Festival.
Hearts and Roses clothing coming to The Cove. Get in quick it isn’t going to hang around for long.
As if I haven’t got enough to do in the workshop, we have yet another design to add to the lineup of shadow casters. £5 plus postage.
Three more shadowcaster designs to add to the collection (because we aren’t already busy enough). Same as the others, £5 each. With a free candle! Wow!
Even though we have been working our little butts off to make all of the shadow casters that everyone wants, we still found time to make this gorgeous little tic tac toe board. Made from reclaimed acrylic (just like the shadow casters). Yet another bespoke item only available from The Cove. Ideal for a frustrating game that is sure to cause arguments or just as a curious little coffee table ornament.
Couldn’t really do the tealight shadowcasters without including these designs now, could we?
Some of the designs available in our range of Tealight Shadow Casters made right here in The Cove. Yours for only a fiver each. (Plus postage if needed).
We’ve been making spooky tea light holders in the workshop today to join the creepy little 3D printed pumpkins. Or alternatively, invite spirits in for a chat with one of our engraved ouija boards. Grab yourself something different this Halloween.
The handbag you didn’t realise you needed. A truly one off bespoke piece, created here at The Cove.
Short notice, we know, but if anyone fancies popping to The Cove on Friday, we’re gonna have a coffee day in aid of McMillan. All proceeds from coffee, cake etc will be donated to this wonderful charity. We’ll expand this to make it a coffee weekend. We have cake.
Next week we will be off for our final visit of this year to Whitby and the Crafty Cove, We are really excited about meeting up with Tony and Jan again, the proprietors.
Have any more of Tony's tools mysteriously varnished??. We will find out next Saturday

We had a day off today. We’ve heard about them, but never tried it. They’re overrated. The Cove is open for business as usual tomorrow. Come along for Auntie Jan’s knitted delights and goth, alternative and vintage clothing. A coffee, some cake or possibly, some of the weird and wonderful things that Jay and Tony produce in the workshop.

We're thrilled to announce we'll be travelling back up to Whitby later this month, alongside Jack Kendrick and Henshaw Music, to participate in Whitby Folk Week at the Crafty Cove, Whitby!
The folk week is often very traditional, so when the Cove expressed an interest in bringing some modern takes on folk to the festival, we knew we had to make it special! Our tagline through the whole process:
ALT-FOLK FOR ALT FOLK!
So we've brought some of the best alt-folk artists on the scene to tear up the Cove and put on a high-energy, sing-along and dancing frenzy for the folk festival. Both Jack and Henshaw are extremely gifted in this particular field, so they're bound to put on a steallar show!
Advance tickets are available now for just £10, and we'll have support artists to announce soon, so this will be THE gig to be at to start Whitby Folk Week!
