Meet the makers: The Baytown Coffee Company

Baytown Coffee is a family-run business, roasting coffee daily to ensure their customers receive freshly roasted coffee directly to their door. Everything they do is driven by their love of coffee! From the independent farmers who grow it to everyone who drinks it. Their experience in roasting aims to demystify the mythology of coffee, making it easy to understand, purchase and brew.

Inspired by the local area, they converted an old cowshed in 2019 to create their roastery right next to the family farm they live on.

It's back! 💛 For a limited time only, we're saying hello again to one of our old favourites - King Street!

Just in time for summer, our coffee of the month for June has to be King Street! It's a bright, lively, AA quality coffee grown in the Nyeri region just 100 miles from the foot of Mount Kenya. It has delicious fruity notes of pineapple and red berries, with hints of strawberries and cream at the finish.

We recommend brewing this coffee as a filter or pour-over, just use 18g of coffee per 250ml of water. King Street is best enjoyed black!
