The Tour of Britain 2024 whizzed through Lythe today. Stage two of the race started in Darlington, finishing in Redcar after 152 km, part of the course went through the North York Moors National Park with Lythe Bank being just one of the many inclines tackled on the route.

We are delighted to welcome Sandsend Ceramics to Unit 2, Birstly Dale Yard, East Row, Sandsend. The studio will sell ceramics, art, gifts and specially designed clothing alongside a pottery where the local surroundings provide inspiration for Moya. Moya leased one of the old units before a major renovation was undertaken on the old buildings, breathing new life into what were originally the old stables for the forestry ponies, so we are thrilled to have her back. We are excited to see another local independent business in Sandsend revitalising East Row.

The Estate extends to 6,000 hectares and has 1,000 hectares of woodland and forestry.
The successful candidate will have experience in the woodland and forestry sector. You will also be well organised, adaptable, reliable and can work with enthusiasm, flexibility, and commitment. In view of the varied content of the role, a background of having worked on a rural Estate would be helpful but is not essential. The individual will be a supportive team player, who is engaging, self-motivated and thrives in working with others but equally alone. Good communication skills are essential.
