She was even more pleased that she could still wear her glasses. 🤓

Prior to the appointment she raised the concern about how the length might knock against the glasses and she would be blind as a bat without them.🦇

We were then able to select the best extension length and lash curl for her in order to avoid any issues with wearing her glasses. 👓

🖤 LASH FACT 🖤

A full set on average can take up to 2-3 hours to cover at least 90% of your natural lashes. 🕰

This amount of time is necessary in order to:

🛁 Ensure the lashes are clean, primed, mapped and prepped for lashing
🎐 Handmake Hybrid/Volume lash extension fans
🥢 Individually isolate and carefully place an extension/fan onto each natural lash
🔍 Check for “stickies” (natural lashes or extensions sticking together when they’re not supposed to)
💛 Create a comfortable and relaxing experience

Remember, Quality = Time ⏳
And the quality of a full lash set is not something I, as your lash tech, will cut corners on for the sake of speed. 🏎

Lash extensions isn’t a service that is meant to be cheap or rushed. Please take this into consideration when booking an appointment. 🗓

However, the lash health of every client is different and an exception to this average appointment time would be if the client has sparse natural lashes so therefore less time is needed to create a full set. ⌛️

As a client, you can do a few small things to help your lash tech do the best, most efficient job possible when you come to your appointment:

⏰ Arrive on time
✨ Have a clean face—free of makeup and moisturizer on or around your eye area
🚫Avoid caffeine prior to appointment
🚽 Use the loo

Friendly Lash Reminder:

🚫 Avoid touching/rubbing your lash extensions with your hands/fingers.

❌ Avoid applying moisturizers or oil based products/makeup on or around your lash line.

🚿Wash and brush your lashes everyday, especially after sweating/crying/swimming.

🪄Only use a clean lash spoolie to brush your lashes.

🎐 Use a handheld fan to dry your lashes after washing them. Never use a hairdryer even on the cool setting!

🛌 Try to sleep on your back or on your side at the end of your pillow to avoid friction.

💛 When you look after your lash extensions, they will look lush for longer!

I advised that due to the condition and health of her natural lashes, we could only do a full set of classic lashes with a few light lash fans to disguise the small gaps she had on her lash line. 🖤

I also recommended that after her holiday, she take a break from lash extensions in order to let her lashes regrow for fuller lash extensions in the future. ❤️‍🩹

Hey Lashionistas! Have you noticed your lashes falling out a bit more frequently than usual lately? 👀

Did you know the change of seasons have an affect on your lashes? Just like the trees and the animals, the Autumn Lash Shed causes your summer lashes to fall out to make way for your thicker winter lashes. 🍂

This is completely normal as we experience hair loss all over our bodies, it’s just more noticeable when you have lash extensions. But don’t worry this lash shed period is only temporary up to 4-6 weeks! 😅

This means in order to keep your lashes looking their best, you may need to book your infill appointments within 2 weeks of your last appointment. 🗓
