Right now you are here so be here whole heartedly. Take a breath and just be for a second. By becoming present you are showing up for yourself in the moment and hopefully to the best of your ability … and over time, well this is where the magic happens. 1% better everyday adds up!! Over time and time of repetition everything becomes more natural and even second nature. The things we found hard at the start become the norm and eventually easy… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.. work hard, stay consistent and trust the process. I know its hard to just put faith in something you might not fully understand or even agree with some times.. but if it’s what needs to be done just do it. We can make 1001 excuses but if that’s what needs to happen then so be it. Taken on the 2000 burpees in April challenge to raise money for the @maggiesmanchester charity who support cancer treatments🌻 Trying to mix it up in between sets of my regular workouts so that I can get the bulk of them done before the gyms reopen and I start taking it up a notch with the training and just going up the stairs gets tough never mind 200 burpees before breakfast even though strangely enough I really like burpees 🐒 However it isn’t all sunshine and roses ...Let’s just say being peak off season for both my 100 mile challenge and now this has been the most contradictory things to attempt I guess I can say that I do like making these even harder than they already are. 😆 When you find yourself doing something “in honour” or for someone else it’s a completely different type of motivation on the tougher days. So if motivation is something you struggle with find a WHY you are doing this. Really think about that why. Let it light a fire in your tummy and drive you on your bad days. I found my hard and my why so I let these two things get me through the tough spells and I allow me to keeping working towards the dreams consistently. If you don’t know why your doing something chances are your not going to stick it out. So put a bit of thought into it. Find your “hard” and find your “WHY”!! Allow them to be unique to you as an individual no matter how weird or wonderful they may be. If you want the results be will to change the approach that hasn’t worked for you in the past and put some trust in a new process. If your putting in the work and CONSISTENTLY the result will come. Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s troubles it only takes away today’s peace. Stop worrying about things you cannot control. Let that nonsense go. Show up for yourself, day in and day out. Work hard, be kind and just focus on being the best version of yourself because truth is no one can do you better than you can. I have a few clients that really struggle to not compare themselves to others they see on social media and I’ve been a sucker for it too. However you need to remind yourself that everyone is at a different stages of their lives and my chapter 5 isn’t going to look like your chapter 1. Show up, put the hard work in and enjoy the ride. It’s has honestly taken me months to get my act together on camera for longer than 2 min but here we go unedited, no filter just me talking about what Online Coaching is. How bad can it be? 😩 I often say don’t be afraid to be bad at something new and that’s exactly the advise I’m going to take now. This can be implemented in so many different situations. Embrace not feeling comfortable or confident be willing to learn and open to listening to other more experienced in that field or situation. Listen.. at the end of the day if you are giving your best attempt then that it is good enough!! With time, hard work and consistency the results your looking for will come and you will no longer be “bad at that something new”. Ride the wave! You’ve got this 🤩
Here’s me squatting really fast, throwing a paddy, having a cry, saying a couple of f bombs and grunting so loud my neighbours closed their windows. Sorry guys but I’ve got gains to make🙋🏼♀️👀 I’ve had a tough couple of days but not doing what needs to be done will only add to the hurricane in my head. The “burden” of not doing those tasks sitting at the front of my mindNo thanks. 🧐 I’ve got enough stuff to deal with I don’t need anything else to worry about. Now dont get me wrong if you need rest and recovery then take that. I can’t get enough of seeing people reaching their goals and taking massive steps in directions they never thought they could go. Allowing people to see their true potential is honestly like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. This time last year i was four weeks out from my first bodybuilding show. Little did I know that this was as far as my bodybuilding prep would go. 15 days out and so ready to step on stage. But utterly shattered that it was just the end just like that. Pfffff finished🌬💨I honestly felt lost and so out of control of my eating habits ,my motivation ,everything just seems turned upside down however this prep provided me with so much self discovery, dedication, memories, opportunities,lesson, tears..tears about haribo, protein bars and of course tears when I would fall over my own feet during my posing sessions time after time. The smallest of tasks were so tough and my goodness people got on my nerves... and quickly too but that was short lived, bearable and so worth it!! This was by far the best experience and biggest challenge of my life!! A massive shout out to my coach that help me get to where I could only previously have imagined going on a physique level, training and consistency level. 4 Weeks before gyms reopen and I couldn’t be more ecstatic! The countdown is on!!!🙏🏼🙋🏼♀️🤸🏼
Balance is not something you find. It is something you create. 🙏🏼 I am religious with my morning routine everyday I rinse and repeat. EVERYDAY with out fail. I have created a morning routine which is personalised to me and works for me and in turn is maintainable over long periods of time and has allowed me to live a more balanced, structured life. After all consistency is where the magic happens so finding a good balance in life will help keep the consistency through hardships and new opportunities and in turn help you towards your goals 🦋 And let me start by saying that no it isn’t easy to get up at 5 am every morning in the pitch black like it’s the middle of the night but it’s allowed me more time to work on my goals so I do it. No it wasn’t easy to sit and meditate through the hurricane going on it my head everyday when I was going through some of the biggest mental battles of my life but I did it, I faced every emotion and thought that arose and now I wittiness a calmer mind because of it. No it isn’t easy to do cardio first thing every morning before the sun rises but I do it because that the only time I can find that works with the rest of my day. No it isn’t easy eating clean 90% of the time but I do it because that what I need to do to reach my goals. No going to bed by 10pm isn’t easy but it’s the only way I get the sleep I need and get up early enough. So NO most things aren’t easy but that’s what separates us from the majority. These battles we face and challenges we accept are what make us who we are. Finding the balance between doing what you need to do and what you want to do is essential in most areas of your life. Know when to go full throttle and when to ease back into neutral. If it was easy everyone would do it and that’s exactly what drives me!!! The opportunity to be in the minority and the top percent of that minority at that.🙏🏼 Currently too busy watering my own grass that I have no idea how gr
