Achieving your goals is hard. But do you know what’s also hard? Dealing with low confidence, not being strong enough or fit enough to play with your kids, be independent around the house or during work and daily tasks, not fitting into clothes you feel your best in, covering up because your insecure because you know you haven’t put the work in.
Now I know which hard I would pick.
Nothing is easy. It’s not suppose to be and if it was easy EVERYONE WOULD DO IT.
So embrace the hard, embrace the suck. Allow yourself the opportunity to embrace delayed gratification for what it is. It’s delayed but the gratification is coming and the results will come.
Stop playing the easy game and dive head first into getting your health and fitness on track.
We so often, too often take our health for granted till we no longer have it.
You deserve to be all those things I mentioned above and more!! Without endless boring workouts, strict diets and dreading to do what needs to be done.

Strength starts within.
First ever pro race for me yesterday finishing 7th in my age group in the whole world 🥹
And then to top it off today me and this beaut took to the dance for her second ever Hyrox race and first ever pro weight dance.
Finishing 26th in the world in our age group with one month to prepare for World Champs and only one month away from her first ever race.
And lastly the support, the kind messages and words of encouragement have been like nothing I have ever experienced before.
I can’t begin to describe how fortunate i am to have the people around me that I do and my Innerstrength team who inspires me more than you will ever know.

Something that really gets me as a coach is when I take a new client over to an area where’s there are mirrors and they can’t stand to look at themselves and they continue to comment that they don’t like what they see or that they can’t bring themselves around to actually looking at their reflection 😩😞
You are the only YOU out of 7.9 billion. DO YOU KNOW HOW SPECIAL THAT IS. 🙏🏽
Working out, pushing your limits and showing up for yourself doesn’t just bring about physical improves, health improves and better quality of life it also brings about more self belief, self confidence, healthier mindset and the ability to appreciate WHO THE F YOU ARE.
20,30,40 years from now you will look back and admire who you are today. You might even regret not wearing that top in the gym or not being content with who you are in that present moment.
So next time you walk past a mirror or move away from one in the gym look at that person in your reflection and appreciate what who you are, the scars you carry, the bit that wobbles over your bra, or giggles under your shorts. You are you and you should be proud of everything you have overcome so far all while striving for healthier, stronger habits that enable you to become more of what you want to be. Yes there’s work to be done, yes theres part of you, you may like less then other but please show yourself the love and respect you deserve.
Allow it motivate you to be better and more but don’t let it weigh you down and rule your life.

Swipe to the last one to see how happy I am to received an invite to world championships with Paige after her unreal performance yesterday at London Olympia.
Yesterday was a milestone in my career. A day will honestly never forget.
To put into perspective and give an example of what hard work does Paige couldn’t compete 4 out of the 8 HYROX movements with the desire standards and struggled to complete 1 burpee, 1 wall ball and a lunge with the correct movements standards just over 5 months ago and yesterday..
Well from going to “just wanting to complete the race” to finishing 4th in our AG out of 260 odd pairs and an astonishing 7th out of 1096 pairs… 1096 PAIRS.
AND TO TOP IT OFF… AN INVITE TO WORLD CHAMPS 🥳🏆
Paige your ability to show up to your sessions week in and week out after a day with the same amount of work most people do over 2-3 days is inspiring.
Thank you for taking that leap of faith when I told you it would be a good idea to try a Hyrox with me, thank you for doing all that you were asked off. Your hard work has certainly paid off.

Number one bit of advice I’d give to people starting out in the gym…
it’s not how much you lift but how you lift it.
Slow down, find mind to muscle connection, think about what muscles you’re trying to target, just please slow the hell down. I promise you will get more out of lifting less weight with better tempo and form then throwing around heavy weight with no intent. 🙏🏽

It’s a privilege to be able to challenge your body and mind. To do things that build character and strength, to test your resilience and move in ways that some people can’t.
One day you will look back and wish you had done the things you are able to do now. Remember that.
Paige - where do I start??? What a privilege to stand by you as you push your physical limits. What a difference 12 months can make. This girl is a WEAPON. I throw all kind of tough, gritty work at her and she takes it on board and gives it her all every time.
10km PBs, 150kgs glute bridges 🥹, not one but two HYROX’s booked, gruelling workouts nailed, not a session missed. Honestly the lists go on!! I’m SO ready to hit the HYROX dance floor with you in just over a month 👋🏼

Paige and I have two Hyrox races together (so far) this year.
London Olympia in May and PRO weight doubles in Birmingham in October and I CANNOT WAIT.
Paige is a farmer she works her ass off all day, all year round. 🧑🌾 🐮 🐓
But she shows up every day no matter how tough and hands on her day has been, what time she started - she’s there.
Training has ramped up, she is currently the lightest she’s ever been and her attention to detail on her nutrition is paying off. 📈
Yesterday I had the pleasure of testing the hard work with her when we dived head first into a shortened run Hyrox.
Safe to say she smashed it. 🫶
Just over a month to go till we hit the dance floor for the first time.

What’s your worst exercise in the gym? 🥲
Mine is the rower… never seems to be able to pump out the speed and the distance. I’m working on it but so often it’s easy to shy away from the things we aren’t good at. 😔
It’s so important to learn about your weaknesses, your dislikes, your bad habits and all those other things you shy away from in life or towards but due to negative emotions or circumstances. It’s SO important you ask yourself WHY that is the case.
There is some much growth to come out of learning about the above things. So much potential when it comes to self discovery!
You want to break bad habits? Learn about why those bad habits occur? What are your triggers? Where’s the thought process initiating? Learn about yourself!
You can have the best coach, friend, partner, family members to tell you about your bad habits and perhaps give you s**t for them but they cannot stop them from happening, only you can do that. So you need to take action and starting right at the start where that decision initiates.
You will continue to make the same mistakes, create more bad habits and stay stagnant with your progress if you honestly think that’s it’s as easy as just saying you will find more time to train or just snap your fingers and start eating better or wake up earlier every day or maybe even stop smoking or binge eating episodes but you don’t actually learn more about why, how, when these things happen.
The best thing I ever did was to get to know myself. Learn about my weaknesses, my bad habits, my dislikes, my reason, my motivation because when I understand these I can change them. I can work on the areas that need addressing.
It starts and ends with you.
You will be exactly as happy as you decide to be 🙏🏽✨

The training is functional, challenging, addictive! It makes me want to push to new heights, set BIG ass goals and want to lie down after every session 🤣🙌
Pushing the limits - getting comfortable with the uncomfortable that’s the good s**t.
That being said anyone can dive into this training ( well anyone that is able to run injury free or certain other limitations) I have witness ALL KINDS IF DIFFERENT PEOPLE completely it. Fireman in uniform, people in their 60s, people that are at their heaviest ever weight, people with physical disabilities, people in weighted vests every kind of person. It’s for everyone! Don’t let me deep intro put you off giving it a try!
It’s going to be a good one.

The problem I hear all the time is “i don’t have time.“
Now while I totally respect the fact that some people really are back to back in tasks,jobs, responsibilities for as much of the woken day as possible so just hear me out -
How time is spent is often down to perspective. What you perceive to be important will get time. Simple. So your mindset about moving your body needs to be in a way that can support this.
Allowing 10 min of movement over no movement “because you didn’t have the time for an hour” needs to be a priority. Allowing movement to be something we partake in for the benefits that we can appreciate from just 10 min if thats all we have time for. 10 min 5-7 days a week is better than nothing what so ever. Or even 2-3 times a week whatever you can utilise. Whatever you have time for utilise in a way that will bring about something good for your body and mind. 1% more is still 1% more. 🙏
It’s a blessing we can move our bodies in the way we can and challenge our edge in whatever way so treat it like that.

Realign, reset, readjust.
The goal is to always improve. To build on from where you were previously. To learn from your mistakes and that’s what we did. 7th place finish for us this weekend.
The course was tough. It was PACKED we were jumping over peoples legs and waving in and out of people for 90% of the race. The floor was weeeeet. Rumour has it we were running 1.2km distances. Sled pull had me in a daaaaaark place but this time I loved every minute.
Last time my nerves took over. We set off waaaay too quick.I was done in after the second kilometre along aside having a full on panic attack just before the end. Tears were shed and I left feeling disappointed in my performance. But this time.. this time I went back to the drawing board. I trained with everything I had, I worked on my strategy, I worked on my mindset and from start to finish I smiled and embraced the grit.
Lessons learnt but the works not done yet. Barca singles LETS BE HAVING YA 💨🔥
