I’ve wanted to do one of these cakes for so long, and thanks to Evan’s love of Minions, I was given the chance to create this cute little fella.

Absolutely every part of him is edible, and of course, handmade.

We are going to be adding this little fella to the website as one of our set designs, just as soon as we get a break in the orders where we can sit down and add some much needed new lines.

In the meantime, we keep going producing our amazing customers some incredible cakes.

December is pretty much fully booked now, with only a couple of dates left. If you’d like us to produce a cake for you in 2025, we certainly recommend getting booked in as soon as possible, as we are already taking plenty of bookings, especially for January!

This is a cake that we have made a few times, but this time, we were asked to create it with more autumnal colours and with fairies as well as animals. The pumpkins on the cake made a beautiful addition, with the darker colour toadstools.

This cake was for my best friend’s son, Henry, who turned 20 this year. Yes, it absolutely makes me feel old! 👵🏻

This cake encapsulates everything that he loves. His Snap On tool chest, Scania T-Cab trucks, the colour orange, the company he works for and last but not least, a love we have in common, a Mk1 Ford Es**rt, which features on the image to the drawer fronts.

In true Dumbledart’s style, everything is handmade and fully edible.

Happy Monday everyone!

This great cake was produced for a gentleman that had spent time serving in the RAF, and has a hobby of building and using remote controlled planes and boats.

Everything on this cake was handmade and with the exception of the antenna on the remote control unit, it was all edible too. The cake also features 2 panels that were hand painted.

We love detailed cakes like this, and for me, any excuse to make any kind of military aviation, like the Supermarine Spitfire, always gives me a lot of enjoyment.

I’m going to sound like a stuck record now, but spaces are extremely limited for the rest of this year and we are taking orders for 2025 and 2026 too. To avoid disappointment, we are recommending that people book as early as they can.

This week’s featured cake was for Lee’s 50th birthday.
The brief was, a man that uses chainsaws for a living, loves his family, and his 2 dogs, but tolerates his cats, and has always wanted a boat.

Cue one of our bespoke designs and this is what we came up with. Absolutely everything on this cake was handmade and fully edible.

We truly love cakes that are completely bespoke to the recipient, ones that will never be made for anyone else. It always makes them more special.

We have been lucky enough to have made Arabella’s cakes since she was 1. Along with her sister, Ottilie, they always give us amazing themes and styles to achieve, and this cake was no different at all.

This was the first cake in this style that we have ever created. We’ve done plenty of number cakes before, but none with the piped buttercream finish with the naked sponge. This cake, as with all of our cakes, differs from this stay that you see online, our cakes are BIG. We do not believe in having small cakes, because, what’s the point? Haha.

We don’t use any number shaped tins for these cakes. They are all hand carved and created specifically for the number of portions you require. We can even provide our own cutting guides for them too, so that you can get the most from your cakes.

We can create these with any theme and where possible, we will make all of the decorations on them, and absolutely everything will be edible.

This cake was created a few weeks back, to celebrate an 18th birthday.

It featured the owners beloved cat’s face on the top, which was handmade and fully edible, except for the whiskers. Then the top and all around the outside was decorated with pretty flowers and edible wafer paper butterflies too, which all looked really striking on the black background.

As well as our bespoke novelty cakes, which we absolutely love to do, we also create wedding cakes.

Below is a selection of the beautiful cakes that we have been asked to produce this wedding season. Saturday saw our last wedding cake leave us for the year, and we couldn’t have been more happy with it.

From your first enquiry, to the delivery of your wedding cake, we want to make it as stress free as possible for you.

We are happy to liaise with your venue for the best time to deliver, and source the flowers for you. All of the fresh flowers that we provide are purchased locally, from the lovely ladies at Highworth Flowers and our silk flowers are always purchased from Decoflora. We can produce cakes that are fondant covered, or ones with a buttercream finish too.

Our wedding bookings are filling up for 2025 and we are even taking bookings for 2026 too, so booking in advance is always recommended.

We can provide taster boxes of cupcakes, sold in 12’s. You can have up to 6 flavour combinations, 2 of each, so that you can decide your choice of final flavours for the big day, in the comfort of your own home.

We all know at least one person that’s happy to get into a bed that’s in a messy room 🤣, and it would appear that Liana is one of those people!

Absolutely everything on this cake was handmade and fully edible. The bed was an 8” square cake and the bedside table was made with Rice Krispie treats. On the floor and bed, there were mini packets of Walkers crisps, Haribo sweets and tubes of Pringles too. We even made the tiniest little alarm clock on the bedside table.

We do love a cake that has loads of detail.

This Alice In Wonderland inspired 2 tier wedding cake was one that we produced a little while back, for Barry and Sara’s wedding celebration they had with their family, after their idilic wedding in Canada.
Their party was Alice themed, with the colour scheme that you see on this cake.

Absolutely everything was edible and with the exception of the roses and butterflies, all items were handmade by us. To say that this was fun to produce was an understatement.

For those of you that don’t know, we absolutely love producing kids birthday cakes!
For me, there’s something great about the themes, the colours and having the chance to help make memories, it’s what we love. James, on the other hand, loves to use a new theme as an excuse to ‘do some research’, and watch all of these programs or films 😁.

Everything on this cake was handmade and was fully edible, except for Skye’s wings. Everest and Marshall are ‘raised relief’ plaques, where they are built up in areas, to create a more 3D effect, and Skye was a full 3D model, with her plane wings open and wearing her flying goggles.
Lilly loved her birthday cake, and we were sent a picture of the grinning birthday girl, which was great.

This was another of our bespoke designs that was created for the 80th birthday of a keen garden and bird watching enthusiast.

Absolutely everything on this cake was handmade and fully edible, with the exception of the tiny bean canes on the top.

This Valentino Rossi inspired cake left us a little while ago, for a huge fan of the former MotoGP racer and World Champion.

Everything on this cake was edible and handmade, with the tyre to the base, being a carved cake and the helmet being created from Rice Krispie treats. All of the edible images on the Turtle race helmet were supplied as always, from our friends at Don't Leave The House.
The writing on the board was cut by hand in the ‘Doctor’ style font. This cake was great fun to make, having spent years watching him race.

This amazingly cute Hey Bear themed birthday was created by us, for Franklyn’s first birthday.

Everything on this cake was handmade and fully edible. We absolutely love making children’s cakes as the colours are always so bright and fun and this cake was no exception.

This is one of those such cakes. This was produced for Sandy’s 70th birthday earlier on this year. Everything he loves was featured on this cake. All items were handmade and with the exception of the radio antenna and the handles to the space and fork, everything was edible too.

These cakes are guaranteed to be 100% bespoke to the recipient. We provide you with a colour, hand drawn design (as in the last picture), and then we work from that image.

This super cute mini 2 tier cake was made for Macie’s 9th birthday.
A buttercream covered cake with a planets, stars and clouds theme and as the topper says, Macie was on cloud 9.
This cake comprised of a 6” bottom tier and 4” top tier and provided 20 portions. We loved the pastel colours and the gold accents. The fondant clouds were finished with edible glitter, to give that bit of extra sparkle.

The shaker topper, which was extremely small, at 4” across, was made for us by the ever amazing and talented Cheryl.
